We dont really need a striker. we only play with 1 striker and Im happy with Vardy and Iheanacho, its a real creative number 10 we need. and we need a replacement for Mahrez when inevitably leaves.

Every game Morgan plays he is an absolutely donkey and he gets slagged off even more. he should bow out the club legend he is.

 

Club legend and absolute donkey in the same paragraph? Most think he is past his best for us, but it doesn't hurt to show the guy respect for what he has achieved here, and the first of those things would be not calling him "an absolute donkey".

Its factual sorry. He has been a donkey this season. But he is still a club legend for what he has achieved for us.

At Man Utd with Van Der Sar behind him, Carrick and Scholes in front of him and a combo of Rooney, Tevez and Berba up top? Not to mention that vidic and Ferdinand were first choice? Yeah, that team did carry him. It's like bringing up Bobby Huths 2 PL medals with Chelsea. He wasn't exactly an important part of the squad.

I’m so sorry that my opinion differs from most but I always felt he weakened their defence when he played. He was never on the same level as Vidic and Ferdinand and no better than O’Shea. Seemed to get injured quite a bit too didn’t he? I never thought he was particularly outstanding at West Brom either and certainly wouldn’t have swapped Morgan or Huth for him a couple of seasons ago.

As I said though, I hope he proves me wrong.

Fair, Huth wasn't a waste of 3m. You talk of his trophies as if he was at that level - fact is he was only ever a squad player, only got a run if vidic or Ferdinand was injured and only basement clubs like Sunderland and West Brom came in for him, Man Utd made no effort to keep him.

 

He's not an upgrade on Morgan, he's definitely not an alternative to Maguire, if he's instead of Dragovic because Dragovic doesn't want to come or we don't want to pay the fee, then all he is is a downgrade on our centre defence backup

In fairness, I can imagine fans of teams like Stoke and Swansea the year we won the league wouldn't have taken Wes or Huth if you'd asked them that season.
