Early into the transfer window and we've done about half of our business. Not too shabby. Need two creative midfielders now.

Not really. We need still another CB, a Mahrez replacement, a creative CM and, assuming Leo and Slim are goners, a different option up front.

Just reading through the LCFC announcement and saw this photo of him. He surely has the longest neck of any human being.

How has he not noticed the enormous fly that's landed on his chest?

Not convinced hope I'm wrong. Don't know why man City or arsenal who were interested last season werent keen. I know it's cheap in todays market but the bottom line is hes the wrong side of 30 (just) and didn't really excel when the going got tough at wba. Hopefully he will be another Maguire but can't see it.

I think it stems from 2015... we switched to 3 at the back, suddenly became brilliant, and we haven't really seen it since!

and that other teams have success with it .

For the benefit of the person who complained anonymously, Trees refers to Notts Forest. It's not a racial slur.

Seems a good player

I recommend this video posted by yorkie1999. Shows Evans to be quick, good at reading and making interceptions, good on the ball, able to make slick passes, dangerous on set pieces. Excited to see him paired up with Maguire.

if someone has asked this before, please delete. I hear and read the reports that his fee is to be paid in two installments, whats that all about? I can only think there is a financial loophole in doing so but i cant for the life of me fathom why we pay them 2 1.75m instead of it all at once. can some one tell me the reasoning please?

We keep 1.75m in our accounts for longer = we earn extra interest on it.

It could also benefit West Brom for the second 1.75m to be part of next year's accounts due to FFP (make less of a loss in the Championship).

I think we'll have to wait for some outgoings on the attacking front, our squad is currently HUGE, we need to start clearing decks a bit.

Because his head is so far away from his chest.

We will, but all those are replacements - Slim and Leo are likely goners, but we can't really go into a season with only two proper strikers (Nacho and Vardy), replacing Mahrez is going to make or break our season, another CB is needed if Drago isn't being made permanent. Only one I can see us skipping is CM if Puel decides to bring Mendy back into the fold, not unlikely tbf.

Most of our squad is the wrong side of 23. His experience will be massive for us especially without Morgan.

WBA fans say he’s been shit this season just gone after two very good seasons.

Their entire team was shite and being lead by the clueless Pardew, they all wanted him gone and played like it. Wouldn't judge any of them on last season.

To be argumentative.....

you wouldn’t judge footballers on their performance over a whole season?

For the fee if he performs well it will have been a good deal.

Not with that idiot in charge, a huge part of defending well is about organisation and defending as a team, if the trust in the system goes then defenders start acting as individuals rather than a team.
