  1. 1. Where will we finish in the 18/19 Season?

    • 1st - Champions!
    • 2nd to 4th - Champions League
    • 5th to 7th - Europa League
    • 8th to 12th - Mid table
    • 13th to 17th - We’ve been in a relegation scrap
    • 18th to 20th - Relegation and off to the Championship

A lot of pessimism here.  I think we have improved last years team with a badly needed attacking full back which could make a huge difference.  An exciting no.10 and a good centre half.  Yes we've lost Riyad but lets not just remember the best bits.  He was often ordinary too.  On balance, we look stronger to me.

I reckon 8th with Burnley falling back.

Top ten again at least and looking at the squad we are geting close to having a second eleven that is as good if not better than the best eleven that we had when we won the championship.

1 nil down at Notts county with about 3 1st team players in the squad someone actually said we are in relegation trouble.

4-1 up at Notts county we are gonna win the league again.

I believe most posters view of where we would finish this season changed 90 times during the match.

8th-10th for me. Iheanacho and Gray can both improve with regular starts and be big players for us this season. Sadly, I expect another season of being inconsistent especially because teams know we struggle to break them down if they sit back.

I can't believe 2 people think we will get relegated. Cardiff, Huddersfield, Southampton and Watford all have a lot more to worry about than us.

Saints? Really. Think again.

They will struggle again this season IMO

As a closet Pompey sympathiser, I do hope you're right.

The signings they have made look good in theory. Elyounoussi was really good for Basel, Vestergaard has plenty of experience in Bundesliga and Armstrong stood out at Celtic. The trouble is they are all coming in needing to make a step up. If the team is struggling then they will probably struggle as well as a result. There are also areas across the pitch where they look weak for this level. That is before I even mention the failure that is Mark Hughes.

I've nailed my colours to 1st, not because I believe it will happen, but because I want us to finish 1st :)

My wife often wishes the same for herself.

Reckon sixth is a shoot out between us and Everton. We've improved chunks of the side, no Mahrez is a worry but I think it'll actually give us more dimensions rather than just pass it to riyad and see what he can do. Burnley will fall back away, reckon Arsenal will struggle to adjust to post Wenger - any time a manager has been in a place that long there's feet to be found when they go.

I hope not everyone is following suit as we'll have some pretty shvt Leicester fans wanting us to get relegated

3 years ago my mate said to me " your teams 5000/1 are you gonna put a tenner on them "

I said " What and lose a tenner "

£50,000      So what price Top 6  ?
