Somebody must have had a good long chat with him because he’s desperately trying to be even-handed.

If you get a clout to the head so hard it splits your nose, the chances are you will at best be ineffective at running and playing sport, and at worse, well...

Chester Dontlie Posted 30 April 2019 Posted 30 April 2019 Oh then Delle Ali is playing, I've only just noticed

KingsX Posted 30 April 2019 Posted 30 April 2019 Some credit to Spuds … they are clearly the lesser XI but they are having a go. Poch made his adjustment and now it’s Ten Hag’s turn.
Jimothy Posted 30 April 2019 Posted 30 April 2019 Poch must be tempted to bring Dele Alli on at half time.
EastAnglianFox Posted 30 April 2019 Posted 30 April 2019 No matter what happens over the 90 minutes I really hope the referee gets the media attention he deserves (for the right reasons) It was such a small thing but to stop the game, and show genuine concern was brilliant and it took what, 30 seconds if that?

I agree, and hopefully we can see some significant development in the rules surrounding it, but he should've never been let back on. Club doctor bit irresponsible there.
stripeyfox Posted 30 April 2019 Posted 30 April 2019 what happened to Vertongen? Saw him looking a bit worse for wear going off but didn't see the incident?
Finnegan Posted 30 April 2019 Posted 30 April 2019 I'm genuinely embarrassed I just laughed at a Lineker pun.

Went up for a header with Onana and Alderweireld. He ended up heading Alderweireld's head and injuring his nose. Most likely went off with concussion.

egg_fried_rice Posted 30 April 2019 Posted 30 April 2019 Ajax having to defend a bit here. Spurs starting the half more brightly.
Vacamion Posted 30 April 2019 Posted 30 April 2019 Turning this into an end to end encounter will increase the entertainment. And Spurs will probs concede a few more...
Arkie Bennett Posted 30 April 2019 Posted 30 April 2019 You'd think they'd have put all the seats in, being a new stadium and all that. Loads of poor Spurs fans are having to stand.
lcfcsnow Posted 30 April 2019 Posted 30 April 2019 Don’t think much of Neres, poor decision making reminds me of Gray
egg_fried_rice Posted 30 April 2019 Posted 30 April 2019 Sissoko spurs MVP by an absolute mile. He's come a long way! Final ball lacking for them currently. Ajax need to remain stout. Onana (what's my name) has been terrific at commanding his box.
