Someone's had a word with Jenas about his ranting at VAR because he's been so pro VAR tonight lol

I was just thinking the same thing. Somebody must have had a good long chat with him because he’s desperately trying to be even-handed.

Posted prior to him almost collapsing. Didn't look good

Even though he had a bloody nose and looked a bit rough anyway before he nearly collapsed...

Poor from the spurs physio to let him back on, you could see he wasn't quite with it on the touchline

Agree completely.

If you get a clout to the head so hard it splits your nose, the chances are you will at best be ineffective at running and playing sport, and at worse, well...

Some credit to Spuds … they are clearly the lesser XI but they are having a go.  Poch made his adjustment and now it’s Ten Hag’s turn.

No matter what happens over the 90 minutes I really hope the referee gets the media attention he deserves (for the right reasons)

It was such a small thing but to stop the game, and show genuine concern was brilliant and it took what, 30 seconds if that?

I agree, and hopefully we can see some significant development in the rules surrounding it, but he should've never been let back on. Club doctor bit irresponsible there.

what happened to Vertongen? Saw him looking a bit worse for wear going off but didn't see the incident?

Went up for a header with Onana and Alderweireld. He ended up heading Alderweireld's head and injuring his nose. Most likely went off with concussion.

they should definately do something about managing potential head injuries. Not sure what the answer is but it sounds like the medical team made a bad call there

Turning this into an end to end encounter will increase the entertainment.

And Spurs will probs concede a few more...

Sissoko spurs MVP by an absolute mile. He's come a long way! Final ball lacking for them currently. Ajax need to remain stout. Onana (what's my name) has been terrific at commanding his box.
