I do see his talent in some aspects of the game, but at times I think Chilwell would struggle to read a cartoon, never mind a pass. Now that we have players in midfield who can play the ball into spaces, I hope he gets better at it.

We are playing some tasty fast football. Similar to how we played when Puel first came. Nobody can describe this as boring.

 

Diabate is no striker though. May as well bring Gordon on.

Yeah and even as a false nine he’s not yet got the understanding for the role. 

 

Idea is to make space in by drawing the strikers toward him as he runs away from goal. Not really worked.
