Rather get him in the Summer, as a Free Agent.

However, he appeard to be the type of player who thinks they're better than they actually are and sounds as if he has held Arsenal to ransom at times, despite their patience with him during his lengthly injury issues.

He is probably looking for crazy money & Champions League.

He is an attacking central midfielder. Where do you play him ?

I believe Maddison is better & I think Barnes will be better .

He's far too good for us. Arsenal are fools letting him go. One of their best players of recent seasons.

If Juventus are interested in him then it's a no brainer but what makes you think he's far too good for us?  It is unlikely any of the top 4 would want him, so he would have to look at clubs in similar status to us in my opinion.

I agree but don't see top four teams being that interested in him. Truth be told I really don't think he would start for any of the big boys.

Great player but I don’t think he fits the DNA of the squad we are building. In Championship Manager (showing my age) yes, in reality I think we need to persist with what we have.

What about going abroad? Plenty of clubs in Europe would love to have a player like him. Even if it wasn't Juve there are much better teams than us that could get him. Plus he's probably on huge wages which we wouldn't pay him (We could, but I doubt we would).


I think it's delusional to think he would entertain the thought of a move to us.

I went to Arsenal match last night with an Arsenal fan,  he was talking about how he rated Ramsey over Ozil and thinks he would flourish if Ozil leaves.

Not a cat in hells chance ? Regular champions league ‘giants’ allegedly interested and will no doubt want a wage rise. Can’t compare a Cambiasso coming to the end of his career, Cambiasso in his prime would never have played for us!!

For me, he isn't good enough for a top team and at his age, he needs to be playing week in, week out.  

 

Ambitious rather than delusional.
