Happily take him as a player, think he could fit in fairly well (if one of Iborra/Silva leaves), and he clearly has a whole lot of talent.

It would come down to what he's expecting to get though. Years at Arsenal have probably inflated his expectations considerably, and I imagine he'll price us out of contention. There'll be bigger clubs than us wanting to take him on too, presumably.

He'll definitely want big money, I doubt we'd be able to afford him.

I think we would be able to afford him I just think he wouldn’t want to come, we have to be realistic Leicester is a downgrade from Arsenal.

high wages and questionable attitude. no denying he has talent but not consistent enough and i doubt he'd come here anyway.

Consistency for us....or Arsenal!!!   Always a good question.

Coming down a notch,to lift other teams hignts,can also be a worthy challenge,as sometimes surprising descision....al a Weller,Parker.

But I suspect Ramsey,is doing some chest-beating to see what Arsenal produce....hey if they cant..why not!!

Are posters seriously thinking that we could sign this fella ?  Do all fan bases have as many delusionals as we do?

He's not refusing a contact at Arsenal to join us.

We had the same thread about Ross Barkley.

And yet since I made this post, so many have continued to muse as to why he might want to come here ....... weird .....

That's not how transfer fees work - the package he's asking for is his wages, you'd pay the fee to Arsenal (if it weren't an out of contract deal) separately.

I know - i’m talking about the effective difference of getting a player in a free rather than paying a fee ......

he isnt expecting a new club to pay arsenal a big fee in jan and to get 250k per week - however, he could look at 10/15 mill in jan and still be reasonable value at 250k/week

When Darius tore them apart, yep. First game after Shawcross broke his leg if I remember right.

His best attribute is his ability to con the ref. Boy can this man cheat, he takes it to a whole new level. The agony he must be going through, rolling repeatedly on the turf  clutching the horrendously injured part of his anatomy after taking a cruel piece of body contact must be excruciating. Fortunately, he seems to recover quite quickly & is up & about after the ref has penalised the opposition.

Sounds like the vast majority of professional footballers these days.

Mourinho won't be in charge of Man Utd by January!

Possibly, But then it is Utd were talking about. Then problem they have is there no longer to dog financially. I suspect they may back Mourinho, but it seems he's  lost the Dressing room. So they have a real problem. I did say they and Spurs would struggle this season and  so far so good, I dont like either.

There may be a few players worthy of 250k a week but in my opinion he's not one of them. Wouldn't want him here. I think we'd be better to bring on young players like Maddison and eventually Barnes when he comes back. The former has the promise to be better than Ramsey on early showings.
