My deepest condolences to all Leicester fans and the family of King Power. Leicester showed us all that the impossible is still possible. All this down to Mr. Vichai and his family. There was no more closer owner to the fans than Mr. Vichai. You will never be forgotten. RIP

Apologies for my mind racing but if he hasn't survived then I'd like to see the stadium named after him as a permanent tribute. 

 

I don't care if the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Stadium is a bit of a mouthful for some people. Everyone who visits the stadium should know the man's name.

Hoping for the best....expecting the worst.....either way....as a club...we'll always be deeply indebted to Vichai and his family. He turned our dreams into reality. 

 

Feeling sick to the stomach. 

 

Thanking all the non LCFC fans with the overwhelming support. #itsmorethanagame.

Yeah i forgot to buy tixkets for it and am supposed to buy them today but cant now. Woyldnt feel right. I think itd be called off as a mark of respect.

Keep seeing reporters banging on about how much money Vichai pumped into the club. That is simply lazy reporting. They neglect to add that crucially he also gave us his time, business expertise and most of all love. That’s why he’s turned us into a success. He wasn’t just some faceless foreign billionaire - he’s visible, accessible and has become one of our own.

 

This is just so ****ing heartbreaking.

Yeah. He could have put in 20% of what he did and he'd still be loved because of the way he put it in - focusing on the fans and the community: massive gestures like multi million donations to local hospitals down to small ones some of us hadn't even heard about, like leaving a bottle of whisky at the remembrance garden after each match. He is how every owner should conduct themselves, sheer class

Vichai has been a wonderful owner of this club and has treated the fans as members of his family.His contribution and commitment to the club has been second to none.I cannot remember a negative comment about the owners on this forum even in difficult times .If our fears are confirmed he will be hugely missed and our thoughts are with him ,his close family and of course anyone else lost in this terrible accident.

:appl: Brilliant post.      To give us so much of his time was simply incredible.  Loved the man for what he did for LCFC and it's fans.   Fantastic humans are few and far between. It appears planet Earth lost someone very special last night.  Absolutely ripped up by this.

Absolutely gutted for your owner, his family and everyone at your club

 

I was a guest at your end of season awards and saw him donate 1m to a local charity. 

 

Never heard a bad word said against this guy and I will be honest and say I'm jealous of you guys for having such a great guy and family as your owners. 

 

Is it true Casper Schmeichel was on of the first to try and help? He will need a lot of support if so.

 

I guess from the posts already you guys already realise the whole football world is stunned and gutted about this happening

 

It will unite you as a club even more though

 

Good luck and I know you guys will deal with it the best way you can!
