Cant believe we got a win at their gaff last season, we were horrifying for 65 mins of the game but then Kasper's penalty save spurred us on to win. We'll need to be better than that to get anything this time around.

If we follow the trait of being the absolute pits after the international break, like we have twice already this season then we'll also come home with nothing. If Vardy remains out of sorts after his easy international break like he has both times already then we'll also be in a spot.

Has there been anything said on Maddison and Maguire yet? The fact 2/3rds of our starting XI of late havent been on international duty has got to carry some benefit.

Would love Maddison to return and grab the winner, it's all gone a but flat for him since September. Time to remind the PL why he's so hyped up.

With Glen Murray up against Wes, this will not be a battle of the speed merchants.  If Mags and Madders fit, we have a chance.  Without them, will be tough. Would be good to see Caglar in for this one.

That's when Wes is at his best. Rather have him dealing with Murray than a Ryan Fraser type running at him.

I'd like to think there's now pent up energy coursing through the team and they'll start fast. Brighton's home form considered, I'm going for 1-1

Anyone know where the best place to park is? Not been before and told the stadium is out in the sticks.

Any advice gratefully received.

There's no parking at the ground, you can either park at Lewes or Brighton and get the train. This is free if you have a match day ticket,  I have done both in the past and is easy to get to from both.

Although the queueing for the train is shocking at FT. Pretty sure we queued for an hour before finally boarding

Is the ground easy go get to?

Is the surrounding area quite decent?

Only via some sort of public transport as it’s basically in the middle of nowhere just off the A27

Hopefully all the players have had a bit of normality the last couple of weeks and cleared their heads a bit. Tough game 2-1 either way hope we can do it.

Echoing the sentiments of everyone else, this is going to be a tough trip. Not a game like Newcastle where they sat off for ninety minutes and let us do what we like. They’ll be dogged, but will have a go at us as well. Their home record is impressive, but we won there last year without playing well so who knows. I’d take a draw, but I’d love to nick a win of course 1-1 or 2-1 either way, tough to call. Looking forward to my first visit to Brighton :scarf:

Anyone going down on the train may need to think again, especially on the way home- No trains between (basically) Crawley and Brighton.

As a local, it is annoying, but there are bus replacement services. Just takes a bit longer there and back, so leave plenty of time to get to the game.

I've just realised I have to sit in the away end again for this one with my Brighton-supporting mate. Bah.

Hoping for a good game - not sure how we'll do. Like others I hope Madders is over his injury and picks up his form again here - great to watch him when he's in his stride.

Unpopular opinion: do we play better defensively when Maguire is out...? I hate even saying that though ?

Yes.... although bizarrely we also look more likely to score when he is. Maybe Puel wasn't completely crazy in playing him in midfield for a while... :dunno::whistle:

Another option is to use one of the park and ride facilities, the nearest one is at the nearby uni I recall.  If you get there early enough you can walk to the ground from that one.    The trains will be a mess this weekend as there is no service between Three Bridges and Brighton or Lewes, the two options for getting to the ground by train!  So I expect the local Brighton supporters will be travelling by car as well.

First time I've missed a trip to Brighton since they moved to the Amex - usually stay with family down there and make a weekend of it but they're away this time so sadly are not heading down. My cousins are Brighton fans so have been for a few non-Leicester visits too and they travel in via bus. You can get the 25 Bus (I think) right out to the Uni of Brighton's Falmer Campus. If that's too busy, any buses taking you up Lewes Road to Coldean will also be a winner. If needs be you can get off at the main Uni of Brighton buildings near Moulescoomb station but that's about a 35-40minute walk from the ground so only do that if you've plenty of time, aren't pissed and quite like walking lol

Another game where a win isn't beyond us. Will be tough and they've ground out some good results at home this year. Feel their main goal threat in Murray, as a big physical striker, is one that plays nicely into Morgan's hands which is good. We've got more than enough to hurt them going forward. All about if we turn up and play well. I'm hoping that the majority of the team having a break will have worked in our favour.

Brighton play good football and it's not zn easy match

Leicester has to show how to overcome wise hurdle

a draw will be a good result

It may be an unpopular opinion, but I suspect lots hold it...

Certainly I think Morgan looks a lot better alongside Evans (like Hugh in the past...)

Maddison is IMO a greater loss, so hope he’s back this weekend.

Note that whilst there is a bus replacement from Three Bridges to Brighton, you can still catch a direct Victoria-Brighton train ... it's just that it goes via Horsham and Littlehampton and takes an hour or so longer.   But these are running half hourly

eg dep Victoria 10.06 arr Brighton 12.15,  dep Victoria 10.36 arr Brighton 12.44  (although getting on the bus at Three Bridges is faster).

I'd rather sit on a train for an extra hour, than get on a bus!

And also don't forget that the Brighton-Seaford/Ore/Eastbourne/Hastings trains are all running as normal ie you can get the train to Falmer from Brighton and Lewes as normal..

We concede less but also score less. :dunno:
