SuperMike Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 With two loan players getting star ratings and hopefully coming back, The team below could really go places next season: Schmiechel Soyuncu Benkovic Maguire A.N.Other Chilwell Barnes Ndidi Maddison Gray Vardy That really is a cracking line up and could potentially challenge for a top 6 place! Thoughts?...... ......or too early!!!
SheppyFox Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Vardy may not be in our starting 11 next year ;(
HighPeakFox Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 I suspect Maguire will not still be at the club...

rachhere Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 If you are going to play that system, why not Ricardo in there?! I do feel things are going to start coming together though.
Dr The Singh Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Maguire, Maddison and Chilwell will more likely not be here that seaaon
mozartfox Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Where Wes? New contract to 2022 on the cards.
Gold Coast Fox Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 It depends who the manager is. If we stick with Puel i'd imagine it will be a wasted summer before sacking him at Christmas and finishing the season chasing mid-table.
Max Wall Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Ah, the beginnings of another Puel out thread.
KingsX Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 I'd say this has "Worst Timing for an OP" already locked up for the FT End of Season awards.
Stadt Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Ndidi would have his work cut out with two defensively shite attacking midfielders ahead of him
Mint23 Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 I presume you’re putting a new man in charge too as we all know that Puel has built a squad best suited to 3 at the back but refuses to actually play 3 at the back!
RutlanderFox Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Replace Gray with Mendy so we actually have cms rather than a huge hole and Ndidi as a cam! Also keep Ricardo in and that excites me
KFS Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Need to spend this year working on inconsistency, stupid sendings off and going a goal down early. Only then will this side do anything regardless of new players incoming.
KFS Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 And anyway I’d be more inclined to do this: Schmeichel Chilwell Maguire Soyuncu Ricardo N’Didi Mendy Barnes Maddison Gray Vardy Subs: Ward, Benkovic, Amartey, Iheanacho, Ghezzal, Choudhury, New attacker
Ric Flair Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Being a compulsive gambler and realising I spend most of my life not living in the present I cant help but giggle about our fans who have this blind faith we're gonna be mustard in the future. I hope so, I really do but not being able to think like that any longer all I see is a very average team with players not worth the superlatives they get (Maddison especially) We have such a long way to go as a team to grow, the Puel project is hanging by a thread.
SuperMike Posted 24 November 2018 Author Posted 24 November 2018 WOW! I was only trying a bit of positivity! Wished I hadn't bothered!

Plus, I would hardly be predicting a tilt at the top 6 with Mr. Puel in charge, would I?
