Nacho has closed people down a few times aswell. He's not the sole reason we havent created, or even a main reason

We weren’t. We had a single shot, off target, all half. At home, in front of a full house AND an under strength opposition, that’s piss poor.

I see where you're coming from but I honestly expected us to do much worse, like leaking goals from very early on. Individually most players were doing well. Maybe I had lower expectations than you expecting the worst.

Let's wait and see how the second half shapes and how Puel and the lads react eh.

Can criticise the closing down for the goal but at the end of the day it was a fabulous strike. 

It is not a bad midfield combo. If Ndidi is on, having Iborra there meant that Iborra can do more of the midfield control with Mendy instead of Ndidi who would otherwise give away the ball too much. Ndidi now only needs to get on the ball when he has space and time to not have to rush it because otherwise he is awful.

 

This is why creativity has not been hampered because there is less need for Ndidi. See other thread about how Ndidi is a huge negative in creativity. Less of him means more creativity if you can find someone to fill in gap in middle.

 

Probably is Nacho is alone up top and he is not Vardy.

I think we’ve played really well. And I think a lot of you need to remember just how good Spurs are. I think there’s a bit of arrogance on here towards them because we’ve beaten them a fair few times recently and we beat them to a title. But they’re still a top team. We aren’t out of this. I can see a draw, win or a loss. Come on citerhhh!

I'll be really disappointed if we lose this as without Kane and Eriksen spurs are pretty average. We shouldn't be losing at home to these with the starting 11 they have out. But to be fair, without Vardy we are below average. Defended great first half but don't look like threatening Lloris.

We have had so many games when Vardy has not been able to do it, has been anonymous.

Im not saying Nacho has been fantastic, just dont think he derserves this panning
