Solanke and Clyne to Bournemouth?

No thank you, not interested in loans. Why take a player who’s value you will drive up for 6 months to then move to a different club.

Loans imo with what we are trying to achieve, are for crisis’ only.

Clyne's had some off the field problems hasnt he? sniff sniff

Solanke could be an interesting one but we've got Kelechi, and having another lad of a similar age could hinder Nacho's development. I'd agree if we've given up on Nacho and have an out for him, Solanke impressed at youth level and had a knack of scoring goals but he's not impacted at a senior level yet, he might be good or he might be really average

Don't need Clyne at all. We have massively improved our defence and have possibly the best right back in the league in Ricardo. We also have an understudy who defensively is as solid as you'll get for an understudy. Clyne is a decent player but we don't need him.

Solanke would have been of use, I disagree that loans are pointless. They are beneficial in January when the market is daft, plus some loans are often with a view to a permanent deal.

Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda, A Shut up your face. Solanke is overrated and we don't need Clyne, we have Ricky P who owns that right flank. We don't need loans either. Bit of solidity is it.

Don't believe in loans between PL Clubs especially the so called big lot loaning them. So wouldn't want anyone from a PL club.

£19m for a bloke with 1 league goal is insane. Potential or not.

I'm always a bit wary when elite clubs sell their so called brightest prospects.

More times than not they prove to be a bit of a dud, the only reason Liverpool would let him go as they've seen enough to believe he'll be a mid table PL player at best. A bit like us buying Iheanacho, it sounded too good to be true when I first heard it but Man City's assessment will probably be proved correct long term.

£19m for Solanke. **** Bournemouth and there “little tiny club” bollocks. Spent more than plenty of teams doing much better than them.

I'd have taken Solanke but not for 19m.

If it was 10 i'd have been all over it I think. The lad clearly has talent.

Not sure Solanke would be what we need right now. We already have a striker with 'potential' in Iheanacho, we need a ready made Vardy partner/replacement (which will most likely be in the summer rather than now). I disagree that we shouldn't get Clyne as Ricardo is also our best winger as well as our best rb and while Amartey is injured we dont have the option of playing Ricardo on the wing. A loan till the summer would be perfect then we either sign permanently or send him back if Claude feels Amartey is fine to be back up to Ricardo for next season.

Why is this even a thread here?

You know that thing people on here do every year where they say 'can't believe we didn't sign them, what are our recruitment team playing at?!?!' and every year without fail (with the exception of Felipe Anderson) they go on to be dog shit?

.... Yeah that.....

Given Bournemouths limitations as a club they do seem to be able to attract decent players.

guaranteed first team football i’d guess?
