vichai did have other children. Tops particular remit is LCFC, amongst other things.

I think Top’s main remit at the moment is supporting his family after the death of his father. Any decisions on the club will be considered, and not rushed into. At the moment, there is no reason to rush a decision on a managerial change

How can anyone blame Puel for that result?

Everyone whinges about boring, negative football and we score 3 away from home. You can quite clearly see Puel going batshit crazy telling them to stay back and defend at 3-3.

He can't legislate for some of our players making individual mistakes. Morgan, Simpson, Mendy, Ndidi, Chilwell, Ricardo, Maguire, Gray all made stupid defensive errors in that game and we were rightly punished.

I'm neither Puel in nor Puel out, but people that blame him for losing that game are being ridiculous.

You could argue that we lost this game in the first half by going 2-0 down.

Slow start again.

Players not ready enough, lacking focus.

No drive going forward, overly complicated and cumbersome in the build-up.

Time and time again do we concede first and then have to chase the game for the remainder of the match. That‘s some broken mentality, big issue under Puel (and something we‘ve heard from Southampton fans before).

Ricardo RB, Albrighton RW is surely better than Simpson RB, Ricardo RW?

Definitely.

I am more positive about Gray than most. Think his goal today is something Albrighton doesnt have in his locker, plus age wise, moving forward I would see Barnes Maddison Gray as the 3 behind the striker

Just a rumour passed on from a friend that with Vichais passing and 100 days of mourning being observed until the final cremation, and apparently no decisions will be made until this has passed as is tradition. May be/likely to be rubbish, but should confirm that Top has higher priorities than football at the moment

SLB tbh

For a team that like to play defensively, we are utterly criminal at defending.

We really are a shambles.

Well we're not. Prior to this game we had the 5th best defence in the league, and even now it's still performing better than Arsenal's or Man Utds. Yesterday's defensive shambles was a one off

How about sorry to all supporters for being woeful?

How about we were defensively embarrassing?

How about we've been poor for weeks now?

How about....the truth??

Imagine the media shitstorm comments like that would cause,

Let’s all hope that post don’t come back to bite you on the arris

Yesterday’s defensive display was one of the worst we’ve seen in recent times. It was a shambles. Let’s hope Puel sorts it

Having reflected on this game. In previous seasons (i.e. before 2015/16) we would have been happy with the perfomance but frustrated at the lack of focus at the end.

I was actually excited by yesterday's game, frustrated yes, annoyed at the end yes. But quite pleased with the fightback and to be honest it could have gone either way.

I would rather we played like that every week but obviously score more than than the opposition. I think it suites our players far more to play fast paced like that. Our players looked like they were enjoying themselves yesterday despite the negative result.

Put a decent CDM in to sit behind and stay no further than the middle of the opposition half then I think we actually could have won yesterday. That CDM sweeps the middle and takes the pressure from the CBs. Mendy and N'DIDI aren't it though, Choudhury would have been better to be honest.

That's about the speed of how we start and as much the slowness of our attack (after yesterday we've scored 8 in the last 15 minutes of games and only 9 first half goals all season). What it doesn't change is that in terms of goals conceded, before yesterday only Liverpool, Man City, Spurs and Chelsea had conceded less.

Was unable to watch yesterday so have only seen the goals. Kasper doing what he does his best, brilliant save followed by him being stuck on his line for first goal, top keeper comes and deals with it. Defending for the winner is diabolical, another example of lack of in game intelligence.

We can’t get the right balance, either too negative or far too open.  And no matter which one we are we still manage to gift opposition goals.

Absolutely no point continuing with Morgan. Evans and Maguire our best pairing.

Puel doesn’t know his best side or formation and that is the problem. Combination of his fault and the players for their lack of consistency and reliability.

When are officials going to stop this? The corner Wolves scored from. BALL Obviously not in the quadrant. The grass you can see is almost as wide as the white line.  Lineman isn't on this side so can't police it. They still might have scored who knows, but point Iis there, cheating to gain an advantage altering the angle of the balls flight.

Cheating bastards!! I've been saying it for ages but officials are clearly not bothered. And if you can get away with it it will continue.

The ball doesn't have to touch the white, only overhang it. So long as it overhangs it's considered ON the line.

Would this stand under VAR?

Whilst it's not right I think we're splitting hairs here, scraping the barrel, we'd be taking the piss if another set of fans were crying about it.

Look at the comments about Wolves earlier in the season in the Premier League thread, imagine if they were making these comments, it'd be joke after joke. Imagine if Burnley were complaining about it, jeez.
