isaidno Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 What happened in G2 ?. Saw some gobby kid getting thrown out.
DerbyshireFox Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Home crowd are pathetic at the moment. Cheering the sub at half time, booing players on (not today but in recent weeks) - pathetic for so called fans. It’s always Ghezzal and Nacho who cop for it. The slightest pass astray, moan. Having said that thought the atmosphere was okay at the start. Always back the lads unless it suits nowadays. Loudest boos in a while at the end
H.a.r.r.y Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 well, today the atmosphere was better than previous games this year. Until we conceded another 3 goals. Some of our fans need to take a look at themselves, people cheering a player going off, they can't call themselves supporters, embarrassing
hejammy Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 I think rather than 'venomous', the crowd are just a bit fed up. This is the reason why... We are simply terrible this season at home and 1 place above relegation in the home results table
nettle Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Now I know why Ghezzal gets taken off at halftime so know one can boo him?

l444ry Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Surprised it's taken this long for the crowd to show this level of displeasure to be honest.
Rusko187 Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Not having that, been in L1 but got behind the team. No booing or nothing!
Fox92 Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Have you forgotten about the period between 2004-2008? Yes we're poor now, yes the crowd is (rightly) venomous, but I dunno why people suddenly forget what we've been through in the last ten years - including Ranieri's second season and Shakespeare's spell which were both shit.

Guest Col city fan Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 People can’t stand Puel. I get it. Neither can I
LestaAl Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 I left 5 mins early to avoid the inevitable booing. The crowd were behind the team for about 55-60 mins but reality set in that we were going to struggle to get ahead. Given the dross the home supporters have been subjected to for much but not all of the season I think they have been quite restrained TBH

Bunyip Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 The fans voted with their feet and who can blame them.

EverybodyDannsNow Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 I've been critical of our home support recently but where I was today (K block), everyone got behind the players in the opening stages and the atmosphere was good. It only went south when the realisation hit that we were being embarrassed at home by a mediocre Crystal Palace side.
Mr Weller Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Crowd were really good today. They were buoyed by the Spurs performance and felt confident but that feeling collapsed when they how thiecsecond.
Hammo Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Yeah, blame the fans blah, blah. It's all our fault. Pathetic.
Bezzanator89 Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Thought the crowd were pretty good in the first half. Even the sucker-punch by Batshuayi didn't really dampen the spirits. We all knew we did not deserve to be behind, but that hint of resignation that it was the same story that has been retold many times of late. All the possession but still the first to concede. Blah, blah, blah. The barmy substitutions however, and the manner of the goals conceded, they were just reactions from fans who know their squad is capable of more, but are fed up of waiting.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 I'll never be a booer but can’t really blame them at the moment. Losing at home to lower mid table Palce with no real injury problems or suspensions says we have a problem. Booing doesn’t solve anything, I guess it’s the only real way for some of the crowed to vent their feelings, only adds to the mounting issues though.
Monsell1976 Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Not hearing puel out chants, and who stayed to boo, I was long gone
Mr Weller Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 I think we gave the team good support until the very end when things went horribly wrong. Our fans are excellent and entitled to be very frustrated

They're not voting with their feet, otherwise they'd just piss off and stop coming. Frankly, I don't care if you like the manager or the style of play - argue that online, in the pub, on the phone in, but when the players are out on the pitch, back them. What did I hear instead today at the back of the kop? "You shit showpony" (at Maddison after a free kick hit the wall). "You thick headed ****" (at Maguire after a header over"), people shouting at Gray, Ghezzal and Iheanacho to **** off out the club. It's ****ing toxic, and the attendees (they aren't ****ing fans) that do that need to bloody well vote with their feet so we don't have to hear them
