Vacamion Posted 7 March 2019 Posted 7 March 2019 By the way, anyone suggesting medicine or particular drugs to bring on a vivid dream experience has never eaten extra strong cheddar which is old and on the turn. I've dreamt of an air burst nuclear explosion over Leicester City centre, viewed as a pedestrian from the A563 railway bridge between the Saff and Knighton a good number of times, thanks to iffy cheddar.
yorkie1999 Posted 7 March 2019 Posted 7 March 2019 A couple of dreams that i have that reoccur , I'm in a desert and someone says to me here comes the train and then a lorry with an endless amount of wagons is going past straight in front of me. The other one is, i meet this girl at a nightclub next thing i'm in a room with a bunch of old mates, someone asks where i've been and i say i've got a new girlfriend. Someone then asks where she is and i say i've brought her with me, then i pull this foot tall woman out of my pocket, put her on the table and she starts dancing in front of us Tales of the unexpected style. Now, before anyone says stay of the drugs, i don't do them.

I once dreamt someone had broke into my house and was climbing on my bed trying to strangle me. I half woke up then thinking they had set a dog on me before realising it was my actual dog climbing on me poor thing. Edit- I genuinely barely slept for 3 nights after this it ****ed me up that much. In the same house I woke up trying to climb in my wardrobe. **** knows what would have happened had I been able to fit but I woke up because I was banging my head against the clothes in there. And my absolute favourite. I was about 13/14 and had the flu so I was in bed watching Derren Brown when I fell sleep. A while later I get out of bed, wake my sister up trying to persuade her that I was going to show her a coin trick. She comes into my room and now I’m properly ****ed because I can’t find a coin and I’m waking up there in a right situation ran to the bog and puked my guts up. Give me a heads up if anyone wants a sleep over. Years ago I shared a bedroom with my older brother. At the end of our beds was a small table that had a portable black & white TV on it - yes, it was that long ago. One morning, after a pretty heavy night before, I woke to find a puddle on the table and the carpet soaked. It was obvious what I had done and I couldn't blame my brother because he was working away. The thing is, that TV was plugged in. If my pee-jet had hit the electrics inside I might not be here, I certainly wouldn't have been a father.
Suzie the Fox Posted 7 March 2019 Posted 7 March 2019 I have this recurring dream and it is a bit weird. Im sure it means something? But i am back at school sitting at my desk and the teacher is looking at me and tells me to stand up and i realise i dont have any panties on. I stand up and all the other kids in the class are laughing I also dream about my dad alot who died about 6 years ago, he was always a joker and the life and soul of any party. I dream various situations but he will always appear and whisper in my ear 'shush, dont tell anyone im not really dead' I feel sad but also very happy that he is still alive. When i wake i am sometimes sad as i realise it was just a dream

SouthStandUpperTier Posted 7 March 2019 Posted 7 March 2019 As a child I would have a recurring nightmare where I was a snooker ball constantly bouncing off the cushions of a snooker table, round the angles, getting faster and faster. Other than me being a bit strange, does anyone know what this could mean?

When we figured it out, it was already too late. When he was sick, I kept lying to myself saying "he will get better". My dreams about him are always the same, one day he's bedridden, and without even releasing, I see him walking around dressed in his black, long trenchcoat looking as young and healthy as the days I remember him from my childhood. I look around but can't talk, I see him talking to others but not me. Even in my dreams, I can feel my throat tightens and I just want to tell everyone else who don't seem to realize that he's not sick anymore but I just can't. This is the reoccurring dream that I told Izzy about in the first page. Maybe that my unfulfilled hopes that my brain is trying to create because I truly wanted it to be real.

The Blur Posted 7 March 2019 Posted 7 March 2019 Back to sleepwalking- When my sister was in her first year at uni, the bacon kept disappearing from the communal fridge for the flat. No one would own up until one night when my sister and some of her flatmates came back from a night out only to discover the jewish housemate throwing bacon out of the window saying **** bacon all repeatedly in his sleep!

danny2997 Posted 8 March 2019 Posted 8 March 2019 I don't remember most of my dreams but I've got a couple of different ones that regularly recur. I won't go into too much detail, but one of which is very vividly disturbing and whenever I have it I wake up suddenly and find myself unable to return to sleep. I always feel super uneasy after waking up. The other is just complete nonsense where I'm basically the star in some weird disaster movie where they just kinda thrown everything into it to make it more interesting. It is always set in the area though, so weird to experience hurricanes and tsunamis in the East Midlands...

Wymsey Posted 8 March 2019 Posted 8 March 2019 Rarely encounter dreams but some in the past have been nightmares, involving having massive arguments and badly-assaulting family members I highly value.. It was obviously frightening waking up from in terms of sheer shock, but also massive relief knowing it's actually not real and that I'd never lay a finger on anyone in my family (let alone have a big fall-out with any of them). Hence, don't quite believe some people's opinions in that the making of 'dreams' comes from what you've experienced in the past etc.
lee7 Posted 8 March 2019 Posted 8 March 2019 I dreamt that my Girlfriend cheated on me with a lad who I had last seen 10 years ago! Very vivid and she doesn't even know the guy i woke up in the middle of the night trying to work out whether it was real or not.
StanSP Posted 8 March 2019 Posted 8 March 2019 Weird dream last night. Sitting in lounge and all of a sudden we see 2 homeless people in sleeping bags lying in the middle of the road, awake but not sure why they're in the road. Then without any link, I see the two plus about 5 others trying to break in to the house opposite me. I open our front door and shout to disturb them and say I'm going to call the police. They walk off zombie-like and one of them comes towards me. That's when I find myself waking up ?
Carl the Llama Posted 8 March 2019 Posted 8 March 2019 When I was small I used to have this recurring experience of 'waking up' in the middle of the night to a bed crawling with woodlice and spiders, they'd always be travelling from the foot of my bed to the head and then on towards the wall where they'd disappear. I call it an experience because I feel like it may have been more of a hallucination than a dream since I can vividly recall trying to brush them off and only being able to feel the duvet but not the bugs which didn't even seem to respond to my arm and carried on travelling in the same direction unimpeded. Young me reasoned that it must be normal for creepy crawlies to descend on human bedrooms at night and the fact I'd never heard it mentioned or complained about was partly because of the incorporeal to human touch thing and partly because they were always polite enough to be gone by the time we're supposed to wake up so I learned to just lie back down and ignore them. It did make me wonder how you're supposed to let the bed bugs bite when you can't even physically interact with them though. On 06/03/2019 at 21:34, ScouseFox said: pretty sure every person in your dreams is someone you’ve seen in real life Nah I'm always encountering randomly generated people in my dreams. I've had recurring dreams about a fully-realised Poseidon and his army of merpeople invading Dover so a random human is a pretty basic feat by comparison.
