But you can argue that the other way in saying he didn’t have the first 10 years of his career with premier league physios, conditioning, diet etc. So your argument doesn’t really work.

Or course it works - burnout. Mental toil as well as physical.

not to discredit Vardy though he is a supernatural individual.

He's not a natural finisher...

Calm down, I'm joking.

You joke. But There was genuinely someone in here a couple of weeks ago claiming he was past it and Iheanacho is a better finisher these days. :D

People say all sorts of crap when they're upset.

Let’s be honest he is near a impossible to replace. We just got to keep him going as long as we can, and enjoy his last few years.

He has played half the games Kane has this season and has 1 less goal. GOAT.

14 goals in 23, whilst Kane has 16 from 36. Goals per 90 minutes is 0.77 vs 0.46.

Imagine if Pearson never signed him and he ended up going to someone like QPR.

According to his book, it was a three way battle between us, Peterborough and Cardiff to sign him.

Say I’m a Foxestalk poster without saying “I’m a Foxestalk poster”

I take your point, but I tend not to allow football to upset me anymore. It's far more enjoyable that way :)

Not read the last couple of pages, but JV is a club legend and is irreplaceable.

Dread the day he finally hangs up his boots for us, just hope he doesnt play for another British  club.

In my humble opinion he is our GOAT and an unbelievable  story.

It's like an alignment  of the planets, lcfc and JV were just at the right paths in each others lives...pity about his Mrs!!!

I'm on the record about this... Realising you can still care without it being all-consuming is a very freeing moment.

He is a brilliant footballer. If England had used him properly I reckon we'd have a World Cup Final appearance and a Euros win to our name.

I have always thought the exact same!

Absolutely gutted that Southgate has never gave Vardy a real chance at international level!

Could Kane and Vardy have played together more for England?  Vards did well when he was given a chance but for some reason not given a fair crack. England have ignored good players before but their loss and our gain as far as Jamie is concerned
