I'm looking forward to "ref watch" to get an understanding.

You won’t get that, Dermot will say it’s the correct decision for both ones a penalty and one not a penalty

Theirs is more of a penalty as he's massively missed the ball. But contact was inevitable, Ederson didn't get close to the ball and wasn't a 50/50. I'm looking forward to "ref watch" to get an understanding.

He agrees with every decision they make. Won't get much insight

Alonso wasn't near the ball either, the ball was from Willian

Afraid I agree. Barnes’ momentum took him into Ederson whereas Gazzaniga committed a violently reckless foul.

No, Ederson was NOT stationary. Rather, both players in both games were moving forward. Collision was inevitable in both cases.

Meanwhile, “a violently reckless foul” is NOT necessary for a PK (or foul). Rather, that determines whether a card will (also) be given.

Prefer a Chelsea win..

Keeps the Spuds further away from a top 4 finish..

Plus.. it's always lovely to see them get beat.

Don't particularly hold any affinity for either team but do like Frank so would prefer a Chelsea win.

I'm getting quite good at scrambling for the mute button whenever the Just Eat advert appears.

That was a pen, Barnes wasn’t. Serious blue tinted glasses to think otherwise

Both situations were substantively similar. It’s whatever color of the ref’s clothing-tinted glasses to argue otherwise. lol
