Chelsea (H) pre-match

I'd rather see us start with the same 11 that has started the last two games. You would expect Chelsea to make changes if they have a Europa League Final to think about but even if they don't we have enough in that 11 to cause them serious problems. Start strong, take the game to them and try and finish 8th if possible.

If the game allows then bring on Fuchs and/ or Okazaki for their farewells but if not perhaps people will stay behind this year for the lap of appreciation.....

We'll first and foremost want to win the game, which based on recent performances we are more than capable of doing. Best team out. I'd like to see Simpson and Okazaki get some pitch time should the opportunity arise too.

Another big win here please. Positive results/performances against, Arsenal, Man City & Chelsea would not only send a message of intent to our opponents next season but to our own players and potential signees next season.

Same team again please.

Farewell game for a few players,

With nothing to play for give Fuchs, Simpson and Okazaki a good send off.

A la John Terry style, we can ask chelsea to kick the ball out of play at the 2, 20 and 28 minute mark so we can sub each of them off with a guard of honour :D

Rodgers said he wants wide players contributing to goals, so long term Albrighton and Maddison out wide won't be good enough options. Maddison is only useful in the center, he hasn't got the pace to play out wide. But in the last two games Choudhury has taken his place next to Tielemans, and has certainly done a decent job. For this game though I'd like to see Rodgers start the game in a formation he's looking to build towards.

2-0 win. I think they will be thinking about the Europa League final, and they have already booked their Champions League place already. Rodgers has our team motivated despite not having much to play for, and will want to finish as high up the table as possible. If we end up 11th that would be pretty unjust in my eyes.

For me the biggest talking point will be watching Tielemans like a hawk at full time. Will he do a Cambiasso style goodbye, or is he going to be here for one more season? I sure as hell hope it's the latter!

It will also be great to give some well deserved applause to some of our legends that will be leaving the club. Simmo, Shinji and Fuchs (if he's going) all deserve a massive send off for what they've done for us.

Given we can still finish bottom half I think we will be unchanged, i'd be shocked at anything else! (a couple of changes here and there, barnes for albrighton for example)

10th is the lowest we can finish this season.

Ah because West Ham and Watford play each other! Thank christ for that lol!

That makes me feel a lot better about things, so thanks for making my Tuesday!

Don't mind farewell appearances but would prefer a win. I appreciate all Simpson's done but don't want to see him hoofing it out of play in our final game, unless it is off the bench in the final minutes.

Schmeichel

Ricardo Evans Maguire Chilwell

Choudhury Tielemans Ndidi

Barnes Vardy Maddison

Any sentimentality re individual players potentially leaving etc can wait until after the game.

I want to see a full-strength team, a full-on performance and a win - which is more than achievable given that Chelsea have already got their Champions League place sewn up and will probably rest a few after Thursday's game v Frankfurt - irrespective of whether they have made it through to the final (which isn't until the end of May) or not.

Last game of the season at home we might as well go all out and attack these right from the off. then after the game salute the players especially the ones that won't be here next season and thank them for their great service to the club.

Apart from thanking great servants to the club in the likes of shinji, simmo, and fuchs should they play  there is the unique opportunity to politely give thanks to an opposition player for a change.

Hazard will most likely be off to Madrid and it will be his last Premier league match.

Apart from being a class player in his own right, he has his place in LCFC folklore for that goal against Spurs to confirm the title for us. I couldn't have screamed louder if it had been Vardy down the kop end.

:bounce:

I think we need to pay him due respect.

Imagine if we played Simpson as a farewell instead of Chilwell, and it turned out that Man City was Chilwell’s final game for us lol

That would be typical Leicester City!

Neither side have anything to play for .........  they need to try and keep their rhythm going, assuming they get a result on Thursday. Ngolo likely to be missing.  Can we actually do the double over them ?  Been a long time ........

Chelsea have plenty to play for.

3rd gets a CL place

4th gets a play off for the CL

Would expect them to be resting players. Drinkwater may even get a run out on the bench.

Steady on, no need to exaggerate.

**** that.

We'd have won the title with or without that goal.

Vardy scored the goal that gave us enough points to win the league on Sunday the 10th of April away at Sunderland.

I thought they both get automatic entry these days?

Well, I still enjoy watching that goal, and I have enjoyed watching him over the years, so I will join Chelsea in wishing him well.

I also enjoy watching that goal, but I won't be clapping an opposition player. Weird behaviour IMO.
