Farewell game for a few players, I would go:

Kasper

Simpson

Morgan

Evans

Fuchs

Gray

Hamza

Tielemans

Albrighton

okazaki

Vardy

With nothing to play for give Fuchs, Simpson and Okazaki a good send off.

Chilwell, Maguire and possibly Madison will be playing Nations League in the summer so send them off now on an early holiday.

Give done youth team lads a run on the bench see what they can do.

James and King not available? Isn't Hammond still on the staff? GTF working the burger bar? Gerimin!

I'm sure we will go for the win which should give us 8th place. That would show some improvement on last season.

Yep and  If we dick about with selection it could cost 2 league places depending on other results - quite a bit of dosh for the club to lose

After the way the fans treated Huth at the end of last season I hope the players don't bother with the lap of honour.

Don't laugh but there was a recent home game where Matty James arrived with the squad as if he was the 19th man, anyone know if he's been playing any u23 or any behind closed door football? Or maybe it was his turn to be Filbert that day? Would be good for him to dip his toes in the water before the summer break (and inevitably contract frost bite on his toes in doing so).

I'll say it again though, with Kingy (albeit injured) having his tenth season here it was crying out for a testimonial where we could have said goodbye to a few, Huth as well.

I think we can give Shinji and Fuchs the last 20 mins vs Chelsea without compromising our chances of a win. So not falling between two stools (which is what I'll be doing in the Kings Head after) but trying to finish as high as possible, finish with a win, reach 20 goals for season for Vardy perhaps and just a touch of sentimentality

Only change would be a role reversal and put albrighton on towards the end for Barnes, don’t want him to lose confidence ,deserves to be starting at least 50% of the games

For those of us travelling a fair distance for the game, I hope we pick our strongest team and bloody win it !!!

Some momentum for next season on the back of arsenal and Man City (yes I know we lost) ......

£25million for finishing 8th, £23million for 9th and £21million for 10th, £4million is a lot of money to potentially turn your nose up at just so you can play players in a game for sentimental reasons

There is millions at stake, let alone pride. We won't be naming some half arsed team just to say goodbye to players.

Exactly this, you may see the likes of Fuchs come on for the last 5 mins.

The only possible fringe additions will be sub appearances for Fuchs and Okazaki if the game warrants it. I don't see Simpson or heaven forbid James getting any minutes.

I would bring Barnes back in for this, either for one of Ndidi or Choudhury or Albrighton. I think we can afford to attack Chelsea with a midfield 2 instead of 3 and not be outplayed, they will have one eye on the final should they get there after tomorrow night.

Schmeichel

Ricardo

Evans

Maguire

Chilwell

Ndidi

Albrighton

Tielemans

Maddison

Barnes

Vardy

Subs: Fuchs, Okazaki, Soyuncu, Ward, Iheanacho, Choudhury, Gray

I'm sure some don't understand how premier league cash is handed out. I wonder if they would be happy to throw £3m away of their own like it don't matter.

And Slimani and Silva. That don't mean we have to carry on doing it.

Be great to do the double over them. I wonder if Shinji and Simpson will play.

Would like a chance  to give a standing ovation to Shinji and Fuchs at some point in the 2nd half.

Fuchs is staying.

I suspect Shinji and Simpson will come on in final few minutes for sure. Rodgers realises how important they are to the fans and were in the title-winning season.

Will be same starting squad I imagine as last 2 games.

Am just joking dude. Am all up for us making as much money and Winning as many games as we can as well as going in to every game to win no matter who we play

Strongest possible team for me. Only exception maybe Harvey for Marc. That's  a tossup. Chelsea are beatable if we play at our best. We only narrowly lost to Oil City, I'd love us to continue our strong form against the so-called "Top Six."

No wonder we might have limited transfer funds.

Exactly this.  We're not playing Sunday League football.

Neither side have anything to play for .........  they need to try and keep their rhythm going, assuming they get a result on Thursday. Ngolo likely to be missing.  Can we actually do the double over them ?  Been a long time ........

Nothing to play for..... With the way things are we could be playing fro a place in the UEL qualifying rounds. Europe is still a possibility
