The squad is so big it gives everyone a run out. I think it's a good idea.

Not particularly great for fans though. You'd have wanted Brendan to be the one managing the team at both venues too or am I just being a bit nit picky?

Indeed, seems a tad strange! Guessing one team will be predominately first team and one development and they will divide up managerial responsibilities that way?

We've done it loads of times before or has everyone forgotten? lol

Yeah, but it's usually one youth/reserve squad at like Corby or somewhere while the other's playing a glamour friendly against a Euro side or something. It does seem strange we're splitting our squad between two clubs of relatively similar standard. They were both in the same division until a couple of weeks ago.

If you view it as part of a fitness regime then it enables 22+ players to achieve the same level of match fitness together.

Seems both games will be first team squad This is from the website

The Foxes will deploy first team squads to both the AESSEAL New York Stadium and the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday 27 July, as Brendan Rodgers seeks to step up the preparation of all playing personnel just two weeks before the start of the new Premier League campaign.

I bizarrely ended up watching Stoke v Rotherham a month or so ago and I weirdly think on that showing we're best sending our stronger side to Rotherham lol

Rotherham were the pits when I went to see them, genuinely couldn’t remember championship teams being as shit.
