You'd have wanted Brendan to be the one managing the team at both venues too or am I just being a bit nit picky?

Guessing one team will be predominately first team and one development and they will divide up managerial responsibilities that way?
HybridFox Posted 21 May 2019 Posted 21 May 2019 I've seen the bigger teams do it before but there's usually a considerable difference between both opponents. Rotherham and Stoke were in the same division last season!
AjcW Posted 21 May 2019 Posted 21 May 2019 We've done it loads of times before or has everyone forgotten?

Yeah, but it's usually one youth/reserve squad at like Corby or somewhere while the other's playing a glamour friendly against a Euro side or something. It does seem strange we're splitting our squad between two clubs of relatively similar standard. They were both in the same division until a couple of weeks ago.
davieG Posted 21 May 2019 Author Posted 21 May 2019 If you view it as part of a fitness regime then it enables 22+ players to achieve the same level of match fitness together.
Bonanza Posted 21 May 2019 Posted 21 May 2019 Rumour has it Leicester and Leuven will play a friendly this season. No idea if this is true or where the game will be played.
sylofox Posted 21 May 2019 Posted 21 May 2019 At least they've do it fair. Both towns are shite holes
Dan Posted 21 May 2019 Posted 21 May 2019 I bizarrely ended up watching Stoke v Rotherham a month or so ago and I weirdly think on that showing we're best sending our stronger side to Rotherham

grobyfox1990 Posted 21 May 2019 Posted 21 May 2019 So likely no subs made in either game I imagine? Full 90 minutes for both XIs. Good idea. Be weird seeing away fans going to two different grounds, don't get on the wrong fox travel bus!

Seems both games will be first team squad This is from the website The Foxes will deploy first team squads to both the AESSEAL New York Stadium and the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday 27 July, as Brendan Rodgers seeks to step up the preparation of all playing personnel just two weeks before the start of the new Premier League campaign.
boots60 Posted 21 May 2019 Posted 21 May 2019 I'm going to try a bit of duality on 27th July. Einstein reckoned it's possible.
Crazy Kop Corner Posted 21 May 2019 Posted 21 May 2019 If ones at 3pm and the other 7.45pm I think you'll just about be able to make both games.
