Leicester express interest in Luton Town starlet James Justin as boss Brendan Rodgers aims to provide competition for places at full-back

  • Leicester are weighing-up a move for Luton Town full-back James Justin
  • The 21-year-old is capable of playing on the left or right side of defence
  • Brendan Rodgers is looking to provide competition for places at full-back

Leicester are interested in Luton Town's highly-rated full-back James Justin.

The 21-year-old is a left-back but can also play on the right and Leicester want a defender they can develop who can push Ben Chilwell and Ricardo Pereira.

Chilwell has been a target for Manchester City but wants to stay at least another season at Leicester.

Justin, who was named in the League One Team of the Year, has been a target for Stoke and West Brom also.

He has one year left on contract with an option and Luton would be looking for around £5million.

Who was the Luton player we were rumoured to be in for a couple seasons ago - we played a pre season friendly there to try and ‘oil the wheels’ ....... clearly didn’t work!

The markets gone crazy, guarantee someone will pay that aswell!

To be fair a had no idea Luton had even been promoted as I've totally ignored anything below the champ' this season. Last time I heard of them they were non league lol

His main position is right back

Currently he is more of a left back than he is a right back, played 31 games at left back this season and only 2 at right back, but I would say he is probably equally capably of playing either side
