What a huge stroke of luck, brilliantly funny though. 

 

Commentary spent the entire start of the game saying Leipzig will miss Werner and need to replace him, but all of a sudden Atletico are playing a dangerous game being defensive

Not going to lie, I like a lot of the Leipzig players, their manager, and the way they play their football... I'm just struggling to reconcile that with their existence as a club.

 

From a purely footballing perspective, this is the right result for me.

I'm pretty convinced at this point that Simeone probably needs to leave Atletico. It's gone really stale there.

 

I know nobody likes Leipzig but they're an interesting team and Nagelsmann's absolute quality.

 

Werner will be feeling a prat for going this soon if he's bothered about success. He will do well to get to a CL semi at Chelsea in my opinion.
