Max Power Posted 20 July 2019 Posted 20 July 2019 Second half team will roast these. Not really seen much to get pre season hyped about amongst the reserves and youngsters tbh. Daley-Campbell seems promising.

stretch1965 Posted 20 July 2019 Posted 20 July 2019 Can’t watch it as I’m in kefalonia, from comments in here I take it nacho is not looking like a 25m striker then?

Usually these type of friendlies are purely for fitness. I personally prefer them to games like the Asia cup which just involved pointless traveling around the world for no reason. This has been a poor half of football, but these are all our young guns and reserves. It was a chance to impress and see if they could make a claim for the first team squad. Don't think anyone will be doing that! Sadly it also shows that we really do need another striker as Ihenacho would not be able to lead the line. Perhaps Perez could do it though?

H.a.r.r.y Posted 20 July 2019 Posted 20 July 2019 we are making their back line look like world beaters

UpTheLeagueFox Posted 20 July 2019 Posted 20 July 2019 One day I hope fans will worry less about results in pre season and focus more on the performance and fitness. Although I've been saying this for 20+ years and still people go mad either way on pre-season results.
StanSP Posted 20 July 2019 Posted 20 July 2019 Some people on here seem to be taking friendlies far too seriously. Some of these players have barely played together so there's bound to be some disjointed play. It's precisely what friendlies are for - to test out some new players, youngsters, tactics etc. Before we won the League we drew with Mansfield ffs.

reynard Posted 20 July 2019 Posted 20 July 2019 Some of these look miles away from the standard required. Loans out for some required.
Shamomoa Posted 20 July 2019 Posted 20 July 2019 well the commentator is wrong already just said leicester will make 10 more changes. but fuchs has just come on and ward is playing the full 90 so thats at the most 9 changes mate!

Sure, but putting Ian Nacho with the kids is a stupid idea.
