TheSomersetFox Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Be decent if we won the Rugby and Cricket world cups in the same year. Think we need to sack Southgate and appoint an Aussie there too
foxes_rule1978 Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 This would be a perfect World Cup win beating both Australia and New Zealand... no one couldn’t say we didn’t deserve it if we did it

Nobody can say you don't deserve it whoever you beat. You don't get free world cups. If you win it you win it. 2. Australia are gash tbf.
stix Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Itoje was incredible today. I swear he’s grown another six inches taller since his debut! Huge guy!
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Just woken up and seen this! The weekend keeps on getting better! Lets hope Wales can beat the Bokkies tomorrow and then may the best team win......
Guest MattP Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 That was pretty sensational. Hope Wales can win now tomorrow.
srex9 Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Can it be the first Northern Hemisphere final? I feel Wales will have to be at their best to win but it should be another tense encounter.
leicsmac Posted 27 October 2019 Posted 27 October 2019 Best of luck to Wales today - would like to see an all-NH final even if I think that England might struggle more with Warrenball than with the Saffers style of play.

A fully fit Wales on form can be England's kryptonite. Wales missing Hill, Anscombe, Navidi, Williams, Faletau and quite possibly Davies, with Parkes playing injured though necessity and on our current form? If we somehow miraculously get through today with both a win and nobody else hurt we're still going to be a much better prospect for England than a 100% South Africa.

Didn't know your injury list was that long, bloody hell. Point taken, then.
Guest MattP Posted 27 October 2019 Posted 27 October 2019 Would love to see an England v Wales final so right behind the taffs today.

Yeah we've been without Anscombe, Hill and Faletau for the tournament. Faletau missed the six nations but we had Navidi filling in who was the find of the world cup cycle, he's been utterly superb. One of the form loose forwards in world rugby. Now he's crocked too. Liam Williams is a huge loss and if Jon Davies doesn't make it he will be too. If you asked most neutral rugby fans to name Wales five best players they'd probably give you: AWJ, Davies, Navidi, Williams, Faletau of which only AWJ is fully fit. We go through this seemingly every four years. 2015 was nuts, people were dropping like flies but I'd say this year has been worse. We just cannot cover those sorts of losses, we don't have the strength in depth being such a small country.
Vacamion Posted 27 October 2019 Posted 27 October 2019 Dammit. We want the Welsh to run comically into each other when they are playing England, not this week.
Vacamion Posted 27 October 2019 Posted 27 October 2019 I know in the modern game, most players try to play the ref, but there seems to be a lot of shouting at and gesturing at the ref during play, from both sides. I don’t like it, whoever does it.
Finnegan Posted 27 October 2019 Posted 27 October 2019 That's not just a penalty its a yellow card. What the ****.

SouthStandUpperTier Posted 27 October 2019 Posted 27 October 2019 All these injuries are going to be too much for Wales to overcome.
Finnegan Posted 27 October 2019 Posted 27 October 2019 Just now, StanSP said: Is that Wales done without North? Narh its a blow but he's nowhere near the player he was earlier in his career. It's a shame we didn't pick Owen Lane on the bench for this one though.
