Definitely onside, lovely goal.

 

We've made a few tactical changes here. We're clearly under instructions to commit more men forward through the middle

 

- Tielemans is the deepest midfielder dictating from deep

- Mendy has license to bring the ball forward in a very Kante style way

- Vardy is pulling out into the channels far more to try and split the centrebacks

- Perez and in particularly Barnes are much more central and playing further forward

 

So far so good.

Good game so far. Mendy for me the standout performer so far. Barnes and Perez both doing well. Tielemans not too bad though Maddison still a bit off - maintain that Praet should be there instead. But so far excellent play by the boys.

Watching this from the start it’s clear to me that we are trying our best with the players we have to play total football. Right now, watching us play in this way - win or lose it’s taking our club and players in the right direction. Amazing stuff.

Always been a fan of Mendy, ever since he was having a blinder against Arsenal (?) but then picked up his injury. Think that really set him back

Barnes is getting it boys. He just turned 22 in December, he's a player who can grow into 10+/10+ (goals/assists).

 

Mendy? Well crap. Let's hope for the best bc we should absolutely NOT play Ndidi the rest of the game.
