Beautiful assist for Harvey, anyone else in our squad would have probably played the easy ball sideways or backwards and recycled possession. In fairness, Praet would go forward too. The whole team is doing a lot less sideway or backward passing today. Maybe partly because Chilly is not playing!
Finn Claw II Posted 9 March 2020 Posted 9 March 2020 Villa had some early chances but we grew into that and could have had more. A second goal would calm all the nerves

Leicester_Loyal Posted 9 March 2020 Posted 9 March 2020 About 5 minutes before that goal I was asking myself why keepers never make mistakes against us? Ederson nearly gifts United 3 goals but we get Villas keepers making 6 world class saves in the 2nd leg of the semi final. Thankfully our luck changed very quickly
mozartfox Posted 9 March 2020 Posted 9 March 2020 At least we have managed (so far) to keep Greasefish quiet. Without doubt with him quiet they are less trouble. Need to ensure he remains quiet.

Albrighton's grown into the game, still rusty at times and he needs to play regularly to get the best out of himself, it's a shame that's unlikely here now given his achievements. Big at Targett too, well on Ricky getting a little hurt on turnip face for the attempted leg break at their place earlier in the season. Agreed, also been very impressed with Justin and Praet also. Maybe I'm missing something but I'm still waiting for Maddison to show why he should be in the England squad. He's fortunate tonight that most of those around him are playing well.
Kuredufox Posted 9 March 2020 Posted 9 March 2020 Hats off to Albrighton for the pass but FFS he has been abysml apart from that.

Tielemans63 Posted 9 March 2020 Posted 9 March 2020 My one worry is that they can't be as bad in the second half as they were in the first.
SecretPro Posted 9 March 2020 Posted 9 March 2020 Justin > Ben all day long. Nice to see some actual movement and attack on the left hand side tonight rather than the standard 'spin and pass back'.
copunk Posted 9 March 2020 Posted 9 March 2020 I love nacho and i think for the job he does up top on his own he does really well, holds the ball up and brings in others around him, but cant help thinking these conditions are made for Vardy

Lambert09 Posted 9 March 2020 Posted 9 March 2020 That goal was a lot harder than Harvs getting credit for. Still had to get that finish exactly right. Solid half from most, Justin fits our style like a glove.

rachhere Posted 9 March 2020 Posted 9 March 2020 You could see the relief across the team when he scored - it's all about confidence at the moment. Fingers crossed we get properly back into our rhythm by the end of the night.
