Possible 2nd lockdown for Leicester?

He’s put on his Twitter the city of Leicester is under the same restrictions as Manchester.

so presume businesses can open again

News has just come in about restrictions in Manchester and parts of Yorkshire.

So I guess Leicester lockdown being reduced to these levels and Manchester and Yorkshire being increased to these levels

That’s how I read it at 1st but it could mean no changes at all to Leicester.

he lists all the areas in the north west and at the bottom in says “ the same restrictions apply to the city of Leicester “

so I suppose you could interpret in either way

Im due to be seeing the wife's family in Wigan this weekend, and will continue to do so. Classed as Greater Manchester.

 

I reckon it's partly due to potential Eid celebrations in those areas. 

 

Will be completely ignored.

If you ran a pub, restaurant, hairdressers, independent retail business you’d be beyond annoyed tonight. Absolutely zero clarity for them
