Did Vardy Mean It?

  1. 1. So, did he mean to connect with Mustafi’s face?

Can’t believe the media narrative to be honest. If the Vardy incident had happened with an Arsenal player it wouldn’t even be mentioned (like the disallowed goal.)

If a Leicester player had put their studs through an Arsenal player’s knee, no matter how accidental, there would be full on hysteria.

You can tell by his reaction he didn't - he goes straight away to check he's alright. Utterly ridiculous if he gets done on this.

Exactly.

There's a difference between a player clearly fouling/hurting another player and then putting his hands up, acting as if he did nothing wrong and not even checking on the opponent - Think Arsenal and Tottenham players - and a player showing immediate concern and being magnanimous which Vardy obviously was.

I hope this is taken into account but being Vardy and that he is on the Golden Boot, I'm not so sure.

Just interested to see what people think, as there’s talk of retrospective action.

Where is the talk about retrospective action by the way? Only seen this as a social media campaign by Arsenal.

Did VAR look at the incident last night?

It was given as a foul so they must have done.

More from Arsenalmania::D

Vardy can get away with kicking a man in the head. Evans can get away with 2 clear elbows. So ****ing typical.

Ndidi is a player who commits 200 fouls per game on us and never gets booked either. Piss off.

If he was looking at Mustafi yes. He isn't looking... what else is he supposed to do with his leg?

His left leg/foot plants the ground before he extends it to Mustafis face. There’s no way on earth that fall caused that movement.

some lovely Vardy hating here:

He is such a little rat. Without his football talents he would be the drunk **** in the pub picking fights with everyone, only to finally go home and beat up his girlfriend.

Must have the most punchable face of any PL footballer. Can’t stand that piece of trash!

Source has confirmed to me he has been wearing an "All Lives Matter" shirt under his kit, since the restart.

Made a dog drink alcohol until it died about 20 years ago too, human garbage imo.

Should be in jail, but is instead the nation's sweetheart...the world is a ****ed up place these days.

Haha the dog story was a spoof wasn't it? Amazing.

Rob stop it. You've played the game at a half decent level come on. If he doesn't fall the way he does he face plants the ground.

Arsenal could have / should have finished us off when they were on top. Kasper made some great saves and we could have been dead and buried.

But they didn't and they're pissed off about it - which I get. But that's football

Maybe it’s the angle I’m looking at it from 🤷🏻‍♂️
