Lesta2014 Posted 24 July 2020 Posted 24 July 2020 Just come back from cruciate ligament injury in January, included in friendlies before restart, does Rogers rate him and will give him game time next season? Funds not needed to strengthen the wings as desperately as he’s stepped up? im living in football manager world aren’t I?

Sly Posted 25 July 2020 Posted 25 July 2020 From what I’ve seen of him, nothing has shouted he’ll make it.

thereeldeel Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 Not seen much of him a 1year loan move would be appropriate

sdb Posted 6 August 2020 Posted 6 August 2020 Wonder if there will be a fee involved. Must've been a total panic buy at the time. What was it, £5-7mill?

Only seem to be able to find the other way round, £5.4m upfront with £2m in add ons https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3710769/Leicester-agree-7-4m-deal-sign-Everton-Southampton-target-Bartosz-Kapustka-Cracovia.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 1
lcfcell Posted 6 August 2020 Posted 6 August 2020 Good luck to him, hopefully can get his career back on track
DerbyshireFox Posted 6 August 2020 Posted 6 August 2020 Just hasn’t worked out for him or us. One off the wage bill however little it might be, and hopefully gets himself on track with a big club in his homeland 3
Ian Nacho Posted 6 August 2020 Posted 6 August 2020 This has to be one of our worst so signings ever. A £7.5m player, for a club where the record signing was £8m 18 months prior, to contribute absolutely zilch in 4 years is pretty astonishing.

Nobody will remember him when the question is asked in five years.

Popular Post Webbo Posted 7 August 2020 Popular Post Posted 7 August 2020 Some transfers come off, some don't. Same as any club. Why does everything have to be the best or the worst? There's plenty of space in between. 6

urban fox Posted 7 August 2020 Posted 7 August 2020 He is a strange one. When we signed him, everyone was raving over what a talent he was on the back of a great Euros, seemed like a bit of a coup at the time. For whatever reason, he just did not kick on and develop, had back luck with injuries, maybe just didn't fit in or adapt to the UK, he was only a young lad trying to find his feet in a new country far away from family etc after all. For whatever reason, (aptitude? language barriers? homesick?) he never really settled or got a chance, even his loan spell at OH didn't work out for him. Sometimes things just are not meant to be and this seems like one of those cases. Hopefully he will get his move and pick up his career back in his homeland. 1
jeffschlupp Posted 9 August 2020 Posted 9 August 2020 Polish press reporting this will be done on Tuesday or Wednesday, medical tomorrow - he'll leave permanently and sign a two-year contract with Legia plus the option of a third year. Apparently his agent and the club wanted City to cancel his contract and let him go for free, but we have managed to negotiate some sort of undisclosed fee for him.

I imagine we probably wanted to get some kind of sell on clause in the deal just in case 1
