Depressing seeing a team set up with 2 or 3 defensive mids, a low block, and only the intent to hoof it forwards to a quick lad up front with the sole intent of diving to get a cheap pen to shithouse an ill deserved win. Still, understandable, Palace is a hard ground to go to, so you can understand Ole's logic there, and they are his usual tactics for every other game of his tenure. Huge result for him, taking a point against his tactical inspiration the Hodge, and he got to try out his billion pound Palace tribute band against the real McCoy.

Man Utd play Man City (A) & West (H) in their next 2 league games. Their overall run in looks really tough when you take into account the Europa Leagues game too, we really need to win the next 2!

The whole league is a shit show. Too many games - I genuinely feel for the players, some of them are going to get injuries and their careers are going to be ruined. I get the bigger picture and perspective but there's no need for this many games and cramming everything in.

That balances out tonight's result v Burnley.

A 1-1 draw away at Burnley with a depleted team is more respectable than a 0-0 away to Palace with a full team. We have got to win our next 2 and we will still have a good chance of top 4. There were signs tonight that we can still create chances despite having few attacking options. Just need to get Evans back quick and Fofana up to speed and we should be OK.

The post match analysis of the palace Man U game is just a litany of how individual players under - performed and waffle about players who didn’t even play like Pogba . There’s no passage of play worth analysis

As bad as other teams injuries have been like Liverpool and Southampton, I bet not many teams can say they have not fielded their 1st 11 in a single game this season. It is amazing we are 3rd really. Does make me wonder would we be any better off in terms of points tally in the league if we had a full team to choose from for most of the season

Sorry - that was a thoroughly enjoyable game of football and Palace entertained me with their cohesion and determination.  They were always the team more likely to score and should have walked away with 3 points.

 

What do Palace (or Burnley, Newcastle, etc) owe any neutral, or crazier yet - opposition fan - as far as their style of play?  Palace specifically may be the only team that are in a worse place than us with injuries relatively speaking.  They supposed to come out and go 4 2 4 and take it to Utd so you're not "bored" or offended by their "disgusting" football?  Lol - what a joke.  If watching that game upset you, football's not for you.

 

And that's besides the fact that as Leicester fans we should be enjoying that 100x more than any pure neutral.  Like seriously - our fans would rather watch United win 4-1 than draw 0-0.  Mental.
