Changes ......

Recommended Posts

The new season starts shortly.

Lets not hide behind the fact we’ve been poor since December. We can’t carry on like we’ve finished.

What changes now?

Short turnaround for next season as well. Might actually save a few people

Not really the right time to talk about it. 2 minutes after a disappointing end to the season all you’ll get it’s a whole load of overreaction.

Wait a week or two and then we can start to look back on a great season and think about changes.

Get the squad fitter, make them mentally and physically tougher, regain a bit of discipline and add a class winger and centre back.

How do we do that? Rodgers has been here for a season and a half and hasn't managed it yet

Rodgers needs to have a look at himself as his tactics have failed since January and it’s realistic to fear it carrying on into next season.

We need a long term centre back to partner Soyuncu, I hope we don’t persist with three at the back.

Replace Albrighton Gray and Iheanacho with genuine quality. Also time to look for a successor to Vardy, one that is going to play he can’t play every match at a high level anymore.

New keeper for a starter. He's a great shot stopper but this decision making and ball distribution are costing us.

If BR is serious about making us a team that is comfortable on the ball we do need a keeper that is better on the ball but kasper is a big player in this team would take a big manager to make that decision a bit like when pep got rid of Joe Hart

The managers mentality, didn’t realise he was so negative. He’s negative attitude has slowing manifested Into the players.

Didn’t even bother watching today, I could probably summarise how we played without doing so.

Lots of huffing and puffing and passing around at the back. Negative setup, scared to have a go, late subs. It’s every single game!!

He's surprised me with his comments. I knew he was a snake oil salesman type but I really thought he'd be a demanding manager, kicking and screaming for us to be in the top four. Seems like he's settled for 5th from a while back.

We won't sack him though so we have to hope he turns it around.

By all accounts Babylon, Inthought for the large part we were the better team. That was actually a much better performance than we’ve seen.

However we lacked end product and fell apart once they’d scored.

What happened to you? :nono:

Used to rely on you to talk sense, but to say that you didn't watch the game because you have the psychic power of pessimism is frankly pretentious.

Brendan really needs to look at his tactics, his lack of Plan B is concerning.

Realistically, at least £150m needs spending on the squad. We shouldn’t be find many if any of the current bench there next year because the quality simply isn’t there. Gray, Mendy & James should be the first out.

Brendan also needs to get the squad together a find some resilience and spirit. We’re criminally lacking in that right now.

We have an EXCELLENT core to build upon - if we don’t lose any key players.

Thus no need to make any drastic changes, just 1 or 2 players capable of starting and build QUALITY depth. Too many times this season, substitutions did not improve the quality of play on the field, create or take more goal scoring chances nor even comfortably see out a lead.
