Good luck to phillips had a lot of praise in the championship but it's a massive step up before even kicking a ball in the prem. 

 

If Southgate can get the mold of players right we have such a strong team.

Tend to agree that Mount is going to fall down the pecking order - he's OK but wouldn't go much further than that, wouldn't be shocked if he's left Chelsea in a couple of years.

They are given an exemption if they are tested before and can show that they have been maintained in a bubble the whole time.  Same way that Liverpool could continue their preseason training camp in Austria. (though I think that preseason training overseas should not have been allowed as it is unnecessary and looks elitist when the rest of the country are being asked to make sacrifices and can't take such advantages).

I dont even like Grealish much but he’s been outstanding most part of the season and his stats out perform any English midfield player.

It's not the club that's the issue here, it's the player. Maddison is a young player, hadn't been involved so the question is- does he want to be there? Is he committed enough? It's a joke. Southgate has made a massive balls up here defending Harry! Also I don't even like Grealish but to also not include him is ridiculous. If it's because of his behaviour during lockdown then why is Walker in? Rice and Mount also broke lockdown rules.......

Maddison and Grealish are in the exact same situation, southgate won't pick them because they have too much flair in their game
