TuttoMercatoWeb running tonight that Silva to Sampdoria is all but done.

No indication of a fee but think it's permanent.

€3.5m I believe ..

We can’t seem to shift Slimani, it seems Rennes need to sell to purchase. So I’d imagine it hinges on them selling the GK to Chelsea. AC Milan has apparently pulled out, as they now want a player for resale value. They already have Zlatan. OM are still interested as well.

Teams know we want rid, so it put them in a position of power to negotiate and stretch it out to get a good deal. He'll be gone.

His goals and assists last season will definitely tempt someone desperate, still think Mourinho will come in for him.

He was crap. Not being fit doesn’t stop you completing simple passes, which too often he couldn’t even do.

Whilst that's true, I suspect his confidence had been shattered. So on a human level, I agree with Tom.

I've hardly left the house for 6 months, hardly seen my mates, not been able to do my job... I'm not shattered and neither are most who've probably just been through worse than he did. I have some understanding, but he had tie to get right, had chances to show something... and didn't.

I don’t think Silva was the player we needed. He’s a tidy player but simply didn’t adjust to the Premier League. He’d have been okay if he’d hit the ground running, however we overpaid for him either way. He’s just that, an average Premier League player (which most likely puts him in the top 1,000 players of the game worldwide).

I’ve read this morning that the fee is now €8.5m for Silva! We’ll have done well to recoup that much.

Just seen this on Twitter. And Ghezzal posted yesterday at Belvoir Drive in a training kit, could be we’re just keeping them in shape for their moves but could also mean Rodgers wants to give them both a chance?

People claim that Slimani is hated by our squad, but there's plenty within it that seem to get on well with him. I want him back in the mixer.

Not entirely surprising that Dem likes him is it? He’s a bit of an outlier in the group himself, not part of any of the core groups you see socialising
