rachhere Posted 19 January 2022 Posted 19 January 2022 This isn't unusual for him really, from time to time he struggles in games, can't pick a pass and loses possession. It just doesn't always lead to... well that... Its the reason why I have doubted whether a big side really will come in for him as the consistency isn't quite there. Obviously he's had amazing moments for us, but there's a reason he's still at Leicester and we don't have big clubs piling on the pressure to sign him with only 18 months left on his contract.

Would have been nice to see us do justice to him and build on his quality but our recruitment has been nothing short of disgusting ever since so I'm now resigned to us losing him to a more ambitious team. 1

He was. He gave away 2 penalties, was at fault for a further 2 goals and I think gave ManCity even more free counter attacks than he gave Spurs tonight. 1

Today he was sh*t, but like I said he wins us far more than he loses us and is our only genuinely world class player bar Vardy.

People slaughter Maddison when he's in poor form, people even recognise and will say when club legends Vardy or Schmeichel are in poor form. But when Tielemans is, its everything else but his own performances that are the problem - it's the system, the signings, the players alongside him, it's the defence, it's his lack of fitness, it's him being overplayed. Players go through poor form, no one is saying Tielemans is a crap player, but Im a bit baffled if people who are saying it's only 1 game and knee jerk and that he's the best player on the park every game but this one, have even watched him this season. 7
