Sad that it’s ended up a bit toxic with him and the fanbase. He’s always embraced the club and what we are about, and we would have ended up the season with a lot less points if he weren’t around.

One of the shining lights and a player who actually had the guts to come out and talk to the press. I wish him well.

Agreed.

He's a great player but not someone you'd want in our situation. Genuinely think he'll struggle in the championship as it's full throttle in your face football.

He won't be in the championship

Yes he's a really tidy footballer, and one of our best players.

However he didn't turn up for the relegation battle until today (much like the rest of the side, but he should have been a leader as one of the better players).

I should be gutted to see him play his last game in a leicester shirt and I'm not because of his attitude.

Thought he was the outstanding player on the pitch today. Whilst generally he hasn't been great since the world cup but gets judged far more harshly than most because of his profile, and the fact we were hoping, probably unfairly, for him to bail us out single handedly given how good he was earlier in the season.

He will be going onto bigger and better things and will be a key player wherever he goes, probably much to the dismay of a portion of our fanbase who value pashun and running around a bit as opposed to genuine quality.

Not a chance! He was too good for the Championship when we signed him.

He'd be the best midfielder by some distance.

Class player. I've not been here for a while but sad to see there are still some fans giving him crap. We'd have been relegated by March without him. He was our best player this season AND one of the only ones that clearly cared.

Take your frustrations out elsewhere. This is misplaced.

If he had scored his penally against Everton and not assisted Bournemouth to score then we wouldn't have been relegated...

If Dan Amartey had scored 5 at Brighton we'd have stayed up too

Only reason he spoke to the press was to protect his own reputation. Mini Brendan Rodgers in the making.
