Dont get me wrong I think Maddison is a technically good player and superb at set pieces but i think he is massively over hyped. I know this will be an unpopilar opinion but I would taken him off today and put Patson and Nacho up top.

No different to 1 arm or 2 arms up. Not all corners work out how the player wants them to for whatever signal they do.

No he isn't. But Maddison isn't a winger. Albrighton is a grafter, incredibly tactically disciplined plus he will actually try early passes behind the backline which none of the others will do. He's not flashly and we should have moved past the need for somebody like him now but when you're up against it and that right side of the pitch has been woefully exposed, he's exactly the type of character you need.

 

Perez is garbage and so lightweight that he's not up to the fight.

Compared to all attacking mids and wingers Albrighton performs more pressures, tackles, interceptions, and blocks than pretty much all of them

Surely if our opposition head the ball away to the edge of their box , then surely Madders is the player you want hovering about on the edge of the box to take a touch and hit.

 

Or at least vary it about a bit🙁
