missed a last minute penalty which would have been the winning goal. 30 seconds later sliced the ball into own net for 2-3 defeat. Oh yeah and the penalty was taken twice (missed first, but keeper off the line so retaken and missed again)

Like Deeney day, but if Knockeart had scored an og instead of Deeneylol

Were you naked or them?

I knew as soon as I posted it that some smart arse would ask that :D

They were naked in the changing room of LCCC as I and a couple of mates were taking their kit down to the team bus.

lol Couldn't resist. At first glance though, i thought you meant you were in the crowd naked!

Were you working at LCCC then or just stealing their clothes?

Me and a couple of mates (I'm sure @UpTheLeagueFoxwas there too) got to Grace Road really early to see the tour game. The Windies bus arrived and their kit manager called us over and asked if we'd help take the kit up to the changing rooms. After that they asked if we wanted to help with some slip catching practice in the outfield which was a dream come true really.

After the game the kit manager asked if we'd help bring the gear down and load the bus, and promised we'd be first in the queue for the team autographs. It was at that moment that a young Izzy entered the changing rooms to be greeted by the likes of Viv Richards, Malcolm Marshall, Desmond Haynes, Courtney Walsh and others in the buff.

A sight for young eyes and from memory, I think Curtley Ambrose was the longest in the shower

(In the mid 80s my dad got chatting to the guy who looked after away touring teams - it was the same bloke every year, regardless who the tourists were - and he sorted me out each summer with 'graphs and stuff and meeting players in return for carrying some kit here and there. Lovely fella, exchanged xmas cards for many years after.)

Sorry mate, it was more than 30 years ago and I'd forgotten it was all down to you!

I've made a career of piggy backing off other peoples network/contacts and passing it off as my own work :D
