I’d be shocked if there’s not a change at the club regarding physio/medical team set up this summer, our injuries are a joke and it can’t be all just bad luck, surely rudkin and the board are on this.

I think we might have recently hired a new physio.

At which point? Are we due an announcement?

Press quotes. Tight hamstring he picked up in training.

As I said in match thread Cags signaled to the bench that he wanted substituting a couple of minutes before he went down after apparently jarring his knee......around 86 mins when they won a corner. Yes the one Kasper caught, Cags was tracking back and as soon as the ball went dead he bent forward as if stretching his back then turned to the bench and made that revolving motion with both arms that usually signals a player wants subbing....the knee might not be his problem

At least he is not being played so maybe we are learning. Shame he is not fit we could do with him today. Lookman is better on the left though than on the right. Albrighton was great on Thursday so looking forward to this.

We need him badly. If they've got a new injury recovery routine then he won't play too much when we desperately have to have him involved.

This is Vardy, by the way.

Wait, so Rodgers doesn't always purposely play players despite injury concerns? Wow. He should stick to the narrative on here!

sounds to me like the player made the decision not the manager, like Castagne when he pulled out of the Watford cup game

Looks like we are being more cautious with injuries, with Barnes set to return on Thursday.

Makes sense.  We don't really have a lot to play for in the league.  No point risking further injuries.

Rodgers himself said Castagne pulled himself from the game and Barnes I find it more likely, given how he's managed the likes of Evans, JJ and Vardy that Barnes made the call
