They are complete arseholes no doubt.  However, arseholes are going to be arseholes, so it makes no sense whatsoever to make it so hard to legally dispose of your rubbish. Also start prosecuting people who pay anyone without a waste license to take stuff away from their home or work.  Also arseholes.

Someone joined my firm last June, been sitting across from me since then. Has not said one word this entire time, no exaggeration, not one word. Comes in at 0859, taps away on a keyboard all day, and leaves at 1701. I have no idea what she does. Makes you think, I wonder how long you could get away with it if you walked into a random office with your laptop and did your own thing

Have you not made an effort to speak to them? They might have written the exact same post on the cov forum/mumsnet about someone who had been at their work since they started and not said a word to them.

Haha, it’s not only me, there’s a bank of 8 of us in the section (all standard office characters represented) and she says nothing to all. Even the OTT office guy who tries to make convo with everyone about everything, just stares at him for a few seconds when he’s barking, then back to work
