To think in recent years we used to be blessed by Fuchs and Chilwell at left back. Thomas is becoming more of a liability with every game. How can Cifuentes not see what the fans do? He’s way below the acceptable level of performance right now

Because Luke is the biggest weak link in the team. I know it harsh and he one of our own but our team suffer massively with Luke in the team.

I saw this in 2021.

What happened to us. We should have a LB ready to be signed today

3 and a half more years 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Still time to develop..

Needs more of a stronger mentality and also go to the gym more to build more muscle.

Need someone Wasilewski-esque at left-back..

I said at the beginning of the season that he was the worst starting left back in the league and I got pelted by some on here. Completely stand by that statement still.

He is someone that can be carried in a good team but he isn't who you want when your backs against the wall.

Can't attack, can't defend. Can play short non-progrsssive passes when under little pressure.

Such a weird one, he’s been dogshit for a long time, looked hot shit when he started kinda sad really. Everywhere he’s gone on loan they all say he’s shit as well, not sure why we ever thought he’d be a good option

I don’t know if that was me. I know I had a debate with someone, might have been you.

If so, I would like to retract any defence of Thomas that I made and admit my judgement on that was well off….

I really thought he should have been able to finally settle down and find some form at this level. I am often guilty of wanting to give players more time than other people do. But he’s been atrocious. Whether he can regroup if he went elsewhere or not is still a question but why would he have wanted to stay here. Maybe he has an emotional attachment as a fan. Likely money though. I’d like to think if I was a player, I’d rather enjoy my football and perform well at a lower level than be completely out my depth and targeted like he is being each well. But perhaps the money is just too much of a reality.

He didn't. It's a myth. That debut game against spurs when he played due to an injury crisis he looked exactly as it was; a literal boy from the youth team who was given a free hit - and he survived. Probably adrenaline alone.

Some of us had major concerns about him right from the outset.

Can we sell him to Leuvren? Every other club in a ownership group does it

Last I seen, wasn’t Leuven fans wanting KP out too?

That would require good management or money to move around which I’m guessing as an ownership and as 2 different clubs, we have neither.

I raised my concerns after that spurs game and got absolutely battered on here. It was pretty clear early on he didn't have the attributes to be any good.

That's unfair.  Viktor Krustiansen is just as bad.

That's a well trotted out line - but unlikely to be correct.

Whilst Luke Thomas was being humiliated at Sheffield United and Middlesbrough, VK was qualifying for the Champions League at Bologna (or whoever it was in Italy)

We can argue about subjective views on his ability all day, but factually VK is taller, quicker, stronger.  For those attributes alone, he's way above Luke.

And when we gave him a new contract people defended it with "he's fine at this level" "it adds value to him". Yet another terrible decision. Terrible player.
