Excellent tonight, deserves some credit. Did notice that the team seemed to be supporting him more. Nelson, Skipp, and Aribo all seemed to get across and offer a helping hand, so Rowett and team have clearly been quick to identify that he's been targeted and ensure he's not isolated.

Did really well tonight. Main attacking threat as well. Well done Luke

Main attacking threat....really?

When Luke Thomas is our main attacking threat we really do have big problems...although even we aren't that bad

Of course a game and a half doesn't undo the fact he's looked massively out his depth this season, but part of me does wonder the impact of the system or whatever Cifuentes was telling him to do. He's playing similarly to how he was towards the end of last season.

Well played Luke ...dug in and did his job tonight ...I agree, probably his best game for us ,

He did better. I have noticed he's not getting touch tight anymore, which was a major problem for him, pushed over or physically dominated..

He containing more a few yards off,  however it would be nice if he stopped the odd cross,  hes under pressure you could see boro know he's our week link, they didnt even bother trying down our right side.

He improved second half but that really isn’t saying a lot.
Never looks like stopping a cross or attempting a block.

Apart from the crosses that he did stop or block ??

he’s been woeful but was much improved tonight

I'm certain the stats would show he stopped the most crosses out of any player on the pitch. Did crosses still come in? Of course, Boro exclusively attacked down his side. But some have it in for him, if they can not acknowledge how improved he was in this aspect tonight.

He had a good, solid game last night. There was definitely a big improvement with preventing crosses coming in. The bar has been very low but he was getting a foot in to prevent them. There was also a particular moment when a ball was coming over the top and he managed to hook it away on the volley. In wees gone by, that probably beats him.

Got into some good positions at the other end but the final ball not there.

His confidence must have been through the floor so it’s shoots of positivity at least.

The lad can’t stop a cross, until he can do that he won’t be good enough

He stopped at least 4 last night. Played very well, made passes that VK wouldn’t see never mind knock.
