I personally do believe Top is heavily emotionally invested into the Club having been too the training facility.

Not only is the facility world class but throughout it are quite frankly highly emotive touches of what the club means too the family, I was quite taken aback tbh.

Top might be doing a piss poor job of things since his Dad passed, but if you went too the training ground and saw the family touches all around the facility, I’d challenge anyone too tell me he doesn’t give a toss afterwards.

changed my view on him, not too the point I’m a Top Cheer leader, but no doubt about it, it’s not a play thing for him, it’s much more than that

What are the family touches and why are they on our training ground? Really makes me cross this is just sports washing.

Renting sections out to Champions League clubs as a base during the season, international teams during international games is all something we absolutely should be doing. We're in the middle of the country, easy access to East mids airport and train links. Makes almost too much sense

Should be a home base for a nation or two during Euro 28!

Well considering it’s a private facility I’d hardly call it sports washing

As for the touches, it’s nothing dramatic or in your face, it’s not boastful either, it’s subtle but impactful at the same time, the only thing dramatic really is the facility itself with how gargantually (is that a word??) impressive the place is.

Theres pictures, stunning club related artwork, placards, memorials, achievements,  inspirations darted around all over the place in such beautiful ways showing the family, past players, staff members, community projects, the fans and academy integration all intertwining together in a way I can’t really do it any justice by describing other than it’s brilliantly done, inspiringly so. It felt like a “look what we all did together” kind of touch rather than purely family dedicated.

Now, I know laughably All that may sound rather pointless considering the mess we are in, none of the impressive nature of the facility nor inspiring touches from the family are having any impact right now on bloody anything!!…..but that’s not my point though, my point was simply I could see it clearly means a lot too Top.

He’s just unfortunately not his Dad, but there’s no doubt he cares

If anything it made me more pi**ed off with the players, getting paid fortunes and working there everyday and still having the audacity too show such awful attitudes, they should be walking around like they’ve won the lottery every day

Seagrave will have temporary lodgers while their own facility is being renovated. They won't need access all year round 🦁🦁🦁

That's a money spinning idea; Airbnb.

There's plenty rooms, activities, gym and even a golf course.

Let Daka be in charge of making his own toast, the fool will obviously burn the place down and we can claim on the insurance.

you did insure it.... right Top??

You're expecting that he can stand in front of a toaster with a piece of bread and place it in the toaster. Chances are he'd miss

We are on our way to being a world class club on and off the pitch, this club was effectively wiped out 20 years ago and had to be saved by old players, now we have one of the worlds best training centres , won the league and have a global footprint, when we left filbert street I genuinely worried about the future of the club and the costs that were accumulating, now the club is world famous and growing daily, it’s been an amazing journey and can only grow further

what a time to be a city fan

Just seen this post from the first page of this thread.

And if Danny Ward was still here and the toaster threw the bread out he would drop it.

His positioning was terrible, he was stood by the oven with mittens on

Shame they haven't, wont put the same effort into the stadium so that it doesn't look like the Headquarters of KPFC instead of LCFC.

Whatever happened to the museum especially after all those donations / loans from fans many of which were lost (before the Srivaddhanaprabhas)

Thing is if he does care and he might, he needs to level with us properly and we might understand. Fan groups could probably help. The problem is everything is a secret. The people he has chosen to run the club are bad at it, he needs to stop showing faith in those people even if he has personal loyalty to them.,

Based on performances .... they should be made to train on the local park, picking the dog sh1t up before they start .... then maybe the will realise how privileged they are to be at spagrave let alone being paid an embarrassing amount for giving fu*k all in effort

Mav would be stuck trying to get round a table, Fatawu will be standing on the other side just lobbing bread at the toaster, Ayew tripped over a chair on the way into the cafe, Winks is standing handing the bread to everyone behind him.

Maybe the club should give season ticket holders more of an opportunity to experience seagrave.

It seems very closed off for such a big site and maybe a bit more openess would help get fans on board with the larger project and vision of the club (if there is one lol).

At the moment when going down to the KP, the whole place feels like its in decline or decay. There doesn't seem to be the same care and attention. Fans made to feel unwelcome as soon as they set foot at the KP with the amount of stewarding these days, amd the performances are awful.

Remember they used to paint and/or replace the seats every year around the time when we won the league - felt alot fresher then with more attention to detail.

The club isn't a vanity project.

I support Leicester City FC, not Raksriaksorn FC.

I’m increasingly of the opinion that we should simply mothball seagrave while we are below the championship. Move back to Belvoir Drive, cut down massively on the maintenance and running costs. It’s either that or sell it which seems unbearable to me.

I’ve no idea if it’s eve feasible to temporarily close it but they should at least look at massively scaling back how much of it is open and used.
