It shows that in some games like this, having a quality gloveman behind the stumps is worth the runs they might not score as a more specialist batsman. I like Buttler as a batsman a hell of a lot, but it's pretty clear Foakes needs to be an integral part of this England team henceforth.

Some of those byes in our favour could have been wides. Keeper had little chance.

England winning this just means they’ll go into the next game with the same batting line up. At the very least, Brook should play instead of Pope or Bairstow.

That surely has to be one of the great match winning centuries for England, against the world champions and a quality seam attack.
