When I was a kid I used to love staying up to watch the marathon finals, probably one of the rare occasions I was allowed to stay up late.

 

These days it gets to the point that I just want someone to win by half 10 to get a decent night's kip so credit to Mark for respecting my wishes.

Dont get that at all. I wanted Murphy to win during most of the match but would still applaud Selby. Why would someone actually go as far as booing a player when they're lifting a trophy? Why would he care so much to boo them? Guy needs to do some re-evaluation.

Must have been the Masters a few years back as I think that's the only final Selby has lost to O'Sullivan. They were interviewing Selby first as the runner up, like the always do, and some twat in crowd is booing and shouting "We want Ronnie!" Support whoever you want, but have some respect for the other players.

The Masters is a vile sounding atmosphere especially when it's Ronnie v Mark

I don't get why he was booed just seems werid but well done to our local lad and for over coming what ever he has been goings through. So happy for him and can't wait to see him win some more

Obviously he’s been there and done it a few times but doing that tonight with the way Murphy was playing takes a set of bollocks. Leicester legend and it’s so good people were booing I’m sure he’ll be toasting a glass of delicious tears tonight.
