I think their PR agency will be cooking up some sort of conciliatory statement that hints towards some sort of notional consultation. Just to try and take the heat off them for a bit. “We have listened to fans’ views...”

Unified statement announcing the 12, UEFA and ECA have agreed a new CL format (which we'll all hate) that includes some form of wildcard coefficient qualifying and probably a revenue split that's a bit more coefficient based than performance.

I cant wait to hear their bullshit statement:

'Fans are the backbone of football and we're as passionate about thier concerns as they are about the beautiful game.

(About 10 more lines of corporate/PR bollocks about this being the only way to maintain the integrity of sport, etc)

(Final line stating they're basically going to do it anyway)'

If they back down now then Uefa will have the upper hand. Can't see any changes being in the big clubs favour.

I assume Man City.

I cant see what is actually in it for them, their owners live on liquid gold, their team have qualified for the past few years, and it looks like doing so going forward...

Bizarre.

If a club U turns, they cannot get away with a slap on the wrist. Sanctions have to be brought for bringing the game into disrepute and anything less than a points deduction is an absolute joke!

Chelsea or Man City, who have the least debt, have owners who are happy to bankroll them, and are therefore least desperate for the money.

Probably Man City due to the fact they have built City from nowhere to league champions to almost champions of Europe. Why ruin all this... I think City will look and realise they dont need the super league.

How the hell did Barcelona get in so much debt despite being so popular globally? Spurs's debt is down to their stadium?

I thought they had signed a contract and can't pull out?

Maybe so, but if you publicly come out and say it’s a load of nonsense and you don’t want any more to do with it, what use is a contract?

Manchester City. If reports are to be believed, they never wanted anything to do with it in the first place

Why they signed up to it then? Or are they claiming to be led under false pretenses?

I don't know. That's why I said "If reports are to be believed"

I haven't seen anything to suggest that any of the others had any kind of reservations, that's why I predicted manchester city
