It's 2022 and people still think that managing League football is comparable to managing international football.

 

Just about every successful international manager ever wasn't that great at club football. I don't understand why people are asking for Tuchel. Couldn't think of a worse fit.

I get it now. Tournamnet footy and club footy are entirely different animals! Gotta have some respect for coaches and managers who have been successful in both jobs but are they a rare breed?

He’s basically a more moody but less successful Capello.

This season has been a good summary of Rodgers career. He builds teams with incredibly weak mentality. Good runs followed by catastrophic performances and subsequent appalling runs of form.

The more time he spends training with them the more confused they look. It's groundhog day.

I really wanted to see how we came back from the break and whether he could keep the momentum up but this is as bad as anything! 
 

The level of regression in the side in the past two years is scary. The squad is so much weaker and the assets such as Maddison and Barnes fewer and far between. We are not in a good place. This is a slow decline….
