And we have a massive rebuild this summer with not a lot of funds to play with. Paying off Rodgers constricts us further. We may still do it but it's a bad situation all around. 1

Happy Fox Posted 8 May 2022 Posted 8 May 2022 Just for the fact we aren’t even safe yet he has to go, thanks Brendan for the memories but cheerio.

Honestly this makes me dislike him way more, people buying up houses and using them to grow even more money than they already had (which they clearly dont need) while a large portion of this society is struggling day to day to pay rent and even living on the streets makes me sick. 5

Guest ttfn Posted 8 May 2022 Posted 8 May 2022 (edited) Bringing on Vardy for Mendy is the sort of substitution a 7 year old would make if playing Football Manager for the first time. Edited 8 May 2022 by ttfn
foxfanazer Posted 8 May 2022 Posted 8 May 2022 If it costs us a bit of money to get rid then so be it. Anything but another season like this one. I can't stand to watch us 1
tsintskaro Posted 8 May 2022 Posted 8 May 2022 He will ruin club completely if he gets this "summer rebuild" chance. 1

Simply because he’s far too chummy with the lads. Uncle wes their drinking buddy, hardly going to keep them in line is he

Kitchandro Posted 8 May 2022 Posted 8 May 2022 Imagine next season when the ‘give him 10-15 games’ brigade get their wish. We have spunked £40m up the wall because Brendan has convinced the squad we need an overhaul. Our best players have either jumped ship or are playing with absolutely zero confidence. We’re still bored and fed up of watching us. It’s cheaper and more sensible to sack him. Do that, get an up and coming manager in with a positive high-tempo philosophy and a winning mentality. Iit will be like signing several new players for £40m, because they will be twice the players without Rodgers. And yes, he is a fraud. Convincing everyone he’s a miracle worker when we’ve all seen what this team was capable of if he wasn’t too arrogant to change things he knows aren’t working. 3

Think we should bin him, it's getting beyond a joke at this point. That perception has been carefully engineered by his own PR team. Forever throwing everybody but himself under the bus. Puts his own image ahead of the club and ahead of team harmony. Edited 8 May 2022 by BigGibbo 2
leicesterisme Posted 8 May 2022 Posted 8 May 2022 If he has any part in this summer rebuild then we are a championship side in 2023 1
BigGibbo Posted 8 May 2022 Posted 8 May 2022 Gave my reasons after the last tepid possession over productivity performance, but I would rather buy one player less and get rid at this point... and I say that knowing how desperately we need several players. 1

Claudio Fannieri Posted 8 May 2022 Posted 8 May 2022 Writing is on the wall for me, if we stick with him then I genuinely fear for us next season, injuries are no longer an excuse and we look as poor as when these players were out. The football is awful too slow and pedestrian. Get rid and my suggestion would be Patrick Viera 1
Popular Post moore_94 Posted 8 May 2022 Popular Post Posted 8 May 2022 (edited) I am even past the point of even criticising player performances, it is all on him now. He has genuinely ruined the confidence of every player, taken away any form of flair or ingenuity that the players had and turned us into a side to side passing team with absolutely 0 penetration in the final 3rd apart from swinging in crosses to strikers who are surrounded by centre backs Edited 8 May 2022 by moore_94 10
Jimmy Posted 8 May 2022 Posted 8 May 2022 We will be relegated next season if he stays, sack him tonight
Master Fox Posted 8 May 2022 Posted 8 May 2022 It already feels like the club has been tarnished and run into the ground this season. We need a change. 1
