If, and it is a big if at the moment, we signed Bertrand, Edouard, Daka and Soumare, I still feel we are a couple of signings short of a very good squad.

Would still like to see another centre half and another creative player like Pereira.

It also assumes we keep Tielemans.

Odd that we don't seem to have had many links for a right winger, seeing as it's painfully clear that's the position we need to sort the most.

It suggests that we will be sticking with 3 at the back. Perhaps looking to go 3-4-1-2 or 3-4-3.

 

Having said that the Trincao link has come up again. Perhaps we will be looking to use Vardy as an impact super sub in the League and play him in Europe and the cups next season.

Yeah basically Rodgers doesn’t trust Kelechi because he loses the ball too much. Vardy has probably said to Rodgers where he’s at in his career and we need another winger because Barnes is the only good one we have.

Really hope we avoid 3atb, our record in this formation since rodgers came in is midtable yet rodgers keeps on switching back to it despite stellar results with 4atb. It would be very strange if he sees 3atb as the long term solution depsite the results saying otherwise.

Since the end of April; Noni Madueke, Dan James, Jonas Hofmann, Matheus Pereira, Francisco Trincao

 

There certainly are links out there for right wingers

Okay fair point, I've had a mare there 😂

 

I guess I meant more solid sources - the likes of Fabrizio or Winter.

 

Don't get me wrong, I think Soumare and Edouard would be great additions. Just surprised something more concrete like Trincao last season hasn't popped up (I know Trincao has been mentioned, but it feels more like rehashing our interest from last summer than any solid interest).

Sabitzer is a superb player, he's technically brilliant, physically and mentally resilient too, the sort of player who we'd benefit from.

Just use the same method as all the other noncy rule breaking clubs do. Break the rules, wait for a punishment, appeal and get a slap on the wrist.

Courtinho replaces Perez

Eduoard would take Gray!s place as he was part of our squad this season

Gosens replaces Fuchs

Soumare replaces Choudhury

Daka replaces Mendy as not required

Tarkowski replaces Morgan

Simple

Trincao would have to be accommodated, but I still think there is room.
