John Percy called out Soumare, Edouard and Gosens as three we were definitely interested in, so that's one down two to go. Perhaps though getting them depends on Champions League football; Edouard was linked with Milan, Arsenal and Leicester, so it's between Milan and us now (what an incredible sentence to write!). Atalanta are pretty much guaranteed Champions League football again next season, so not sure we can sign Gosens unless we get there.

I think Gosens will be the only one that will end up being CL dependant, I reckon we would still be able to get Edouard even with EL thanks to the links with Rodgers and having Wes and Soumare

Being linked with Inter Milan and Juventus as well though so every chance he could get the same money we could offer and Champions League football and stay in Italy

 

Hopefully he wants to test himself in the Prem

If true, the fact that we've had this sorted with the player since February speaks volumes about how well our transfer process works, right from scouting through to Rudkin with the negotiations. Getting players identified early, scouting them thoroughly and timing it just right so that we get both a good deal on the player and beat our rivals to it. Impressive stuff.
