lee7 Posted 24 May 2021 Posted 24 May 2021 I honestly think if we retain our best players and add a few more quality additions aswell as having a bit of luck with injuries then we'll finish in the top 3 next season. Our first 11 when fully fit is good enough to beat almost all the teams in this league.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 24 May 2021 Posted 24 May 2021 Spurs will actually have some decent trips in the Europa Conference League, they'll be getting a kicking from some Lithuanian bodybuilders, whilst visiting seedy brothels, I am slightly envious.

Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 24 May 2021 Posted 24 May 2021 A top 6 finish. A trophy (really want the EL) and progress on points total is the perfect season. Imagine if we retain the FA Cup!! Stay together boys. Its shit everywhere else. Just ask Drinkwater.

Bad timing for Kane to leave now. The Europa Conference League is his best chance of winning some silverware to go alongside his Aldi Cup medal. 2

Alf Bentley Posted 24 May 2021 Posted 24 May 2021 I'll probably be entirely wrong but....... I suspect that, if we avoid losing major players and strengthen the squad sensibly, it might be easier to finish Top 7 in 21-22, but harder to finish Top 4. Top 4 from this season - Man City will still be strong again; every chance that Liverpool & Chelsea will be stronger than this season; Man Utd could go either way Other "Rich 6" clubs - No obvious sign that Arsenal will massively improve....and Spurs might conceivably be worse! Other potential European contenders - Leeds and West Ham might do well again....but Leeds might suffer "found out 2nd season syndrome" and West Ham might lack the squad to cope due to Europa League - Villa might do better next season, but could be disrupted if they lose Grealish or Watkins, unless they buy well to replace them - Everton seem to have a few aging or half-hearted players A team like Wolves, Newcastle, Southampton or Norwich might have a half-decent season, but cannot imagine them making European qualification and 1 or 2 of them might even be in a relegation battle 2
